“It’s the Hottest NFL Week 17 Offense Player Props And Parlay Pick With NFL Player Expert Justin Mark!”
Odds Recorded On 12/27/2024 Via DraftKings
Bryce Young Over 222.5 Passing Yards @ -115 (Panthers)
I know, I know. It’s weird advocating for a good game from Bryce Young, let alone placing your money on it. However, this is surprisingly one of my favorite NFL Week 17 props to bet. The Panthers and Bryce Young may not have much to play for on paper. However, Bryce Young may have a lot to play for. He needs to prove to this team that he is the quarterback they thought he was when they took him number one overall.
Young has gone from struggling last year, to benchings, to getting starts again, and finally starting to look a little bit like an NFL quarterback. He still has a lot to prove though. He’s still an undersized quarterback who has widely been known as a disappointment. Is he starting to turn it around finally? The past handful of games would indicate that he might be and he’ll look to continue that.

These teams already faced off once this year. In that game, Bryce Young threw for 298 yards. That’s his highest all season, thanks to a Bucs’ defense that struggles against the pass. In fact, they’re 29th in the league in passing yards allowed. Even though the Bucs have a lot to play for while they push to make a deep playoff run, the Panthers will stay competitive.
Saquon Barkley Over 111.5 Rushing Yards @ -120 (Eagles)
The last time these two played each other Saquon Barkley only rushed for 66 yards. It was a bit of a surprise given that the Cowboys got blown out 34-6 and because their defense has struggled so much. However, this game feels like it will be different. With Jalen Hurts likely to miss the game due to a concussion, the Eagles will need Barkley more than ever.
You can’t tell the Eagles that they’ve made the playoffs and winning doesn’t matter. They are still fighting to lock their division as well as get the highest playoff seed they can. The Cowboys on the other hand are throwing in the towel, shutting players down for the season even if they may not have season-ending injuries.
Barkley will be relied on with Hurts out but that’s not the only reason I think he’ll have a big game. It’s also not just because he’s gone over this rushing number four times in the last six games. The other reason I think Barkley will be motivated to run hard is the record he’s close to breaking.
Eric Dickerson currently holds the single-season rushing record, set in 1984, at 2,105 yards. Barkley is currently sitting at 1,838 rushing yards. That means he’ll need 268 rushing yards over the last two games in order to break the record. How good would it feel for Barkley to get at least 150 of those against a division rival? You can rely on him for your NFL Week 17 offensive prop bets.
Jonathan Taylor Over 99.5 Rushing Yards @ -115 (Colts)
Another running back that has been on fire is Jonathan Taylor. He had two touchdowns last week, both from over 40-yard rushes. He’s playing at a high level and believe it or not, the Colts still have a chance at sneaking into the playoffs. Anthony Richardson vultures some rushing yards from him at times but is currently questionable with a back and hip injury. In other words, Richardson could be limited in his mobility, leaving the field open for Taylor.
It doesn’t hurt that he goes against the Giants. The Giants are 29th in rushing yards allowed to running backs. They’re also banged up on defense. Missing a bunch of key pieces, they will have a hard time stopping Taylor. They allowed 111 rushing yards to the Falcon’s running backs last week. Jonathan Taylor doesn’t share the field with a running back, which is the way the Falcons split it up.
I mentioned Taylor has been running hard as of late. He has 421 rushing yards in the last three games. That’s an average of 140 rushing yards per game. Factoring that in with his matchup against a poor run defense makes this one of my favorite NFL Week 17 offensive prop bets.
Brian Thomas Over 6.5 Receptions @ -110 (Jaguars)
I love betting on Brian Thomas and my top NFL Week 17 offensive prop bets contain him as well. The books just don’t seem to have caught up to just how good he’s been as of late.
Yes, I know he’s going against a tough Tennessee defense but sometimes it’s just too hard to fade the studs. Just two weeks ago Ja’Marr Chase had 9 catches against them. Three weeks ago they allowed eight catches to the one and only, Brian Thomas. Even if they limit his yards, he’s still going to get his catches.
One of the reasons he’s getting his catches is that Mac Jones appears to love throwing to this guy. In the last four weeks, Jones has to Brian Thomas ten or more times each game. In the last three games, including the ones against Tennesee, Thomas has gone over seven catches in all three. He’s had eight, ten, and nine catches in the last three weeks.
The Jaguars may have had a disappointing season. However, they can rest their hats on the fact that they found an absolute stud in Brian Thomas. He’s going to play well for them for years to come but let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. He’s going to play well for them this weekend, and that’s all that matters for our bets.
Big Parlay By The Numbers: +1173
Bryce Young Over 222.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Saquon Barkley Over 111.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Jonathan Taylor Over 99.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
Brian Thomas Jr. Over 6.5 Receptions (-110)
It’s as great as an All-Combination or 2-pick Round-Robin as it gets!
