This is why we try to preach don’t chase points on mid-tier/talen level players. After a massive breakout game last week, DE Tanoh Kpassagnon lays a zero burger on 30% of the snaps played. The DTs who had nice weeks last week also put up modest or useless IDP fantasy performances. Unless you’re in best-ball leagues with active waivers, you don’t chase these players/performances.
Carl Granderson is a full-fledged stud and will be in the second tier of dynasty edge rushers coming up for this year once I dive in and make updates. Happy I’ve been on his train since 2021!
Carl Granderson is a name NO ONE is talking about. He's on my radar as the next guy to come out of nowhere and produce for #idp #ffidp
Draft him before he's the hot early waiver pickup. On par with how much I liked Josh Sweat last year https://t.co/p5Oluc6kS6— Steve Tomasin (Dynasty Santa) (@dynastysanta) April 29, 2021
Both linebackers are slumping and only Demario Davis is worth taking a risk on starting in top-10 matchups. Is anyone else getting really worried about Pete Werner‘s dynasty league stock?
Cornerback Paulson Adebo continues a torrid streak and pace. Most CBs are notoriously lumpy with their IDP fantasy production from week to week. Still, you can see from the IDP Guys Weekly Fantasy Finishes tool (for subscribers only!) that he has been wildly consistent as of late. A true anomaly this year.
Nothing much happening with the safeties. Tyrann Mathieu bested Jordan Howden in this one. Both played 100% of the snaps and are inconsistent, Hail Mary option each week.

No one of note unless Jordan Howden is still hovering on waivers in a deeper league starting 3-4 DBs.

A sort of sad changing of the guard, even if you’re not a Rams fan. IDP heads alike all appreciate Aaron Donald but he is officially #washed. It’s Kobie Turner‘s defensive line now.
The promising edge rushers in Michael Hoecht and Byron Young both flopped in this one which hurts considering the important IDP fantasy week that it came in. I’m still a big fan and believer in Young for dynasty leagues and hoping he can bring a little more consistency and a higher floor next year with the studly ceiling he showed us in his rookie year.
Ernest Jones, please just stay healthy! We might just have a new dynasty LB1 King heading into next year. Stay tuned for updated dynasty rankings and specialized content around this topic coming your way soon!

With John Johnson cementing his 100% snap share role, he could be a valuable DB in the final week(s) here.
