Injuries are starting to pile up on all teams. we will take a look at the more impactful injuries leading up to week 4.

WEEK 4
THURSDAY, SEP 27, 2018

Minnesota at L.A. Rams 8:20 pm

Vikings will head into Thursday nights game healthy on defense. They will be without Everson Griffen again who is away from the team currently. The Rams, however, will head into the game with a depleted secondary. Aqib Talib was placed on injured reserve while Marcus Peters missed Monday and Tuesday’s practice but was limited on Wednesday. He is questionable to play. Mark Barron stuck to the exact same practice participation as peters but it’s doubtful to play.

SUNDAY, SEP 30, 2018

Buffalo at Green Bay 1:00 pm

The bills were without Micha Hyde and Shaq Lawson in Wednesday’s practice. Both should be ready to go on Sunday. Hyde was held out of practice as a precautionary measure to rest a few minor bumps and bruises. Lawson looks to be on pace to play after dealing with a list of multiple not ailments through the first few weeks of the season. The packers are a bit healthier and will be heading into Sunday with a healthy starting defense.

Cincinnati at Atlanta 1:00 pm

The Bengals are heading to Sunday’s game with a healthy defense. While their offense still looks to be on the mend seven players limited and practice on Wednesday. Head coach Marvin Jones was optimistic about all players including Joe Mixon. The Falcons, on the other hand, continue to rack up injuries in their back seven on defense. Brian Poole, Justin Bethel, and Damonte Kazee were all missing from practice and will head into Sunday questionable to play.

Detroit at Dallas 1:00 pm

Ezekiel Ansah has been absent from practice all week and it’s becoming more and more likely that he will miss his second game of the season. As for the Cowboys, Sean Lee is back to where he’s most comfortable. Out of practice and likely out for week 4. Joining him with a doubtful designation is defensive tackle Maliek Collins.

Houston at Indianapolis 1:00 pm

J.J. Watt was the only Texans defensive player listed on their injury report. He has practiced in full all week. The Colts safety Malik hooker was absent from Wednesday’s practice with hip and groin issues and is questionable to play. Joining him on the sidelines and with questionable designations for Sunday are cornerback Quincy Wilson (concussion) and Hassan Ridgeway (calf).

Miami at New England 1:00 pm

No patriots defensive players are listed on any injury report this week after losing Ja’Whaun Bentley to IR. While Dolphins safety Reshad Jones returned to practice though limited after missing week 3. Cameron Wake and Andre Branch were both absent for all practices this week. Jones and Wake are questionable while Branch has already been ruled out for Sunday.

N.Y. Jets at Jacksonville 1:00 pm

The Jets were without two starters on defense this week in practice. Josh Martin is still dealing with a concussion but is likely to make his return in Jacksonville. Safety Marcus Maye was limited in practice along with two backups in their secondary Doug Middleton and Buster Skrine. All are listed as questionable but will likely see the field come Sunday. The Jags injury report was full of offense but it seems the defense has remained unscathed through three games and will look to continue that trend.

Philadelphia at Tennessee 1:00 pm

The Eagles have been dealing with a long list of ailments. Luckily none on defense. The Titans only had one player show up on their injury report. Corner Adoree Jackson returned to practice after suffering a concussion in week 3. He seems to have mad enough progress to where his name should no longer be on the injury report after today.

Tampa Bay at Chicago 1:00 pm

The middle of the Bucs defensive line has been dealing with multiple issues including Gerald McCoy (bicep), Beau Allen (foot) and Vita Vea (calf). With Tampa crazy king off of the Monday night game, not too much information has been readily available. These players will need to be monitored closely as we progress towards Sunday. The bears were without Prince Amukamara and Marcus Cooper on Wednesday but did have DeAndre Houston-Carson return to practice. All three are likely to play.

Cleveland at Oakland 4:05 pm

Browns Defensive End Myles Garrett showed up on the injury report this week but practiced in full, so it looks as if he will be playing. After missing all of last week Emmanuel Ogbah and Cristian Kirksey turned In limited practices and will head into with a more optimistic chance at playing. The raiders were without Karl Joseph this weeklong practice. They did get P.J. Hall back this week. Both should play on Sunday.

Seattle at Arizona 4:05 pm

K.J. Wright has already been listed as out for Sunday’s game. While Bobby Wagner, Dion Jordan, Rasheem Green, and Byron Maxwell all practiced in a limited capacity. While it was not noted if Seattle used Wednesday as a rest day for those players. They are all likely to play this week carrying questionable tags into week 4.

The Cardinals had no defensive players listed on the injury report.

New Orleans at N.Y. Giants 4:25 pm

Cameron Jordan was the only defensive player for the saints that was limited in practice. He will almost assuredly suit up on Sunday. Olivier Vernon turned in a limited session at Wednesday’s practice. He’s been absent all year but will attempt to make his debut this week. Damon Harrison and linebacker Connor Barton were DNP’s this week but are looking to practice later this week to be ready for Sunday.

San Francisco at L.A. Chargers 4:25 pm

Adrian Colbert, Jaquiski Tartt, and Richard Sherman missed practice on Wednesday. All carrying a questionable status into the weekend. The Charges have a bit clearer of an idea of how long they will be without Joey Bosa. Likely out until week 8 leaving the Chargers pass rush inconsistent until then.

Baltimore at Pittsburgh 8:20 pm

The lone player on the Steelers injury report was Morgan Burnett who was doubtful for week three but turned in a full practice. His availability is more positive this week compared to last. The Raven’s ailments are starting to pile up with linebacker C.J. Mosley, Brandon Carr, and Terrell Suggs all missing practice this week. They all are listed as questionable but all signs point to them playing.

MONDAY, OCT 1, 2018

Kansas City at Denver 8:15 pm

Linebacker Brandon Marshall was the lone Bronco who missed practice. He did play Sunday but has missed all preceding practices with soreness in his knee. His availability is becoming increasingly doubtful for Monday Night. The Chiefs have yet to release an updated injury report. With this game being on Monday, it is imperative that you keep an eye on who is active in Friday and Saturday practices.
