It can be hard to find sleepers each week. Let’s take a look at some players who could produce in the offensive sleepers Week 7 edition!
If there is a last-minute injury, you may need to scramble to find a player to substitute. That is when this weekly article on offensive sleepers comes in handy. I use Sleeper’s rostered percentage before the Thursday night game to look for offensive sleepers and use anyone under 35% owned. Check out the offensive sleepers Week 7 edition!
In Week 6, 2 of 4 sleepers outproduced their projected ranking and Parris Campbell was a huge win finishing in the top 30, 33 spots ahead of projection.
Mark Ingram, RB, Houston Texans – 29.6% Rostered
Mark Ingram is the leader of the backfield for the Houston Texans, getting 60.5% of the running back carries. The Texans are the worst in point differential at -13.3 but still top 10 in rush play percentage. Ingram has 16 and 18 carries the last two games. Plus, because of all the players on bye, Ingram will get touches and could provide solid floor even in a tough matchup vs the Cardinals.
Geno Smith, QB, Seattle Seahawks – 12.8% Rostered
Geno Smith almost lead the Seahawks to a win against the Steelers in overtime last week and completed over 70% of his passes. This week he plays the Saints who are 23rd vs the pass giving up 275 yards a game. The Saints are second against the run, on the other hand, so the best way to attack the defense is usually the pass. Smith could be a very good fill-in for a 2-QB league or a Superflex.
Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans – 6.7% Rostered
Nico Collins was impressing in the preseason but suffered an injury in the second game of the season. Last week in his first game back he saw 57% of offensive snaps and had 4 catches on 6 targets for 44 yards. Even with missing time Collins is only eight targets from second place on the team. The second receiver spot is needed and it looks like Collins will get the opportunity there.
Chris Evans, RB, Cincinnati Bengals- 6.4% Rostered
Chris Evans has been envisioned by the Bengals to take over the Giovani Bernard role when they drafted him. He has had a slow start but last week had his highest percentage in snaps with 22 % and scored a TD. Most of his work will be done through the passing game and the Ravens are 25th against the pass. Evans is somewhat of a hail mary option but could provide great potential in the flex spot.
Conclusion
Those are my top offensive sleeper candidates going into the seventh week of the NFL season who are not highly rostered. With Covid protocols, you never know when someone is not going to be inactive on game day. These offensive sleepers could help you fill in your starting lineups for week seven.
