IDP for college football can be hard to figure out. Weekly, I will provide NCAA Waiver Adds for IDP players who are rostered under 50%, according to Fantrax. The goal of these articles is to give insight into both College Fantasy Redraft and Campus to Canton (C2C) leagues. Let’s take a look at some players to check for your league’s waiver wire!

Disclaimer: All league sizes and formats are different. Meaning some of these players may or may not be available in your league.

Tristan Nichols, Nevada – 2% rostered

Week 5 Stat Line: 4 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 tackles for loss

Nichols played the most snaps of the season against Boise State this week. He is utilized in a pass-rushing role 98 out of 143 snaps so far this season. Nichols has missed a couple of games but in his last two games, he has five total sacks. In starting to play conference games, Nichols should be able to continue his pass-rushing pace as he has already met his high in sacks this season.

Quavaris Crouch, Michigan State – 19% rostered

Week 5 Stat Line: 8 tackles

Crouch transferred from Tennessee and this is his first year playing at Michigan State. This year, he has already almost matched his high in snaps in a season at Tennesee. Crouch has at least five tackles in four of five games. He has only pass rushed in 37 out of 334 snaps, so he is getting most of his production in run-stopping and in coverage.

Deshawn Pace, Cincinnati – 8% rostered

Week 5 Stat Line: 7 tackles, 1 tackle for loss

In 2020, Pace only had 24 total snaps. In 2021, he is way more involved in the defense. Pace has at least 34 snaps a game and, in that time, he has done well racking up 26 tackles in four games. He does not rush the passer much but seems to be around the ball in averaging seven tackles a game.

Quindell Johnson, Memphis – 45% rostered

Week 5 Stat Line: 12 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, 1 pass defended

This is Johnson’s third straight year in playing heavy snaps for Memphis. With 33 total tackles in five games, he is on pace for this to be his best season yet. Johnson mostly plays at Free Safety or Slot Corner and has been targeted 33 times, so he has plenty of opportunity for tackles.

Reed Blankenship, Middle Tennessee State – 27% rostered

Week 5 Stat Line: 7 tackles, 1 pass defended

This is Blankenship’s fifth year at Middle Tennessee State and played over 500 snaps each year. He has a pretty even split between playing down in the box, slot corner, and at deep safety. Blankenship is averaging a little under seven tackles a game, so that is a nice floor for you at a defensive back position.
