Elijah Moore will receive an MRI asap after injuring his quadricep.
Elijah Moore was drafted in the 2nd round (34th) overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. After learning underneath A.J. Brown and D.K. Metcalf, Moore showed out to be an excellent receiver in his own right at Ole Miss. The Jets had high hopes for Moore as he has been dominant during training camp so far, beating defensive backs left and right.

Moore and rookie signal caller Zach Wilson seemed to have excellent chemistry which would have been huge for Moore’s rookie season production. Unfortunately he left practice after falling on his leg with a quad injury.
Jets Videos on Twitter says Coach Saleh does not seem to be too worried, though he never fears the worst:

The fact the injury happened falling on his leg sounds more like a contusion than a soft tissue injury, though when we hear the MRI results, we will update you immediately. As of now the team is seems to believe Moore will be ready for game action after not too long. Until then it sounds like it will be Corey Davis, Keenan Cole and Jamison Crowder running with the first team.
