This is your DFS Minute for NFL Week 9. Here are my Draftkings, Fanduel, and Owners Box lineups for the Sunday slate of games.
May you find this week’s lineups to be helpful in putting some cash in your pockets. Last week for our DFS Minute Week 8, the guys I expected to have big games did not. Stefon Diggs scored a touchdown, but did not have the yardage I thought he was going to.

As I lamented on Twitter, I should have played my honorable mentions. I tweaked the OwnersBox lineup from last week and removed Jerry Jeudy for Brandin Cooks and it ended up placing in the money. It was nothing to call Mom about, but it was good to see green. Now, on to Week 9.
Quarterback
Lamar Jackson: Fanduel – $8,300/Draftkings -$7,300
Jackson is coming off a bye and should be ready to attack the Minnesota Vikings defense. The Vikings’ defense gave up 300 yards passing to Cooper Rush on Halloween. Danielle Hunter is out for the remainder of the season for the Vikings. Jackson is a smash play this week.
Running Backs
Elijah Mitchell: Fanduel – $7,100/Draftkings – $5,800
Nick Chubb: Fanduel – $7,600/Draftkings – $6,700
Mitchell has back-to-back 100-yard games. Mitchell has been as consistent as they get with the opportunity presented at hand. The San Francisco running back has started the week on the injury report and it will be worth monitoring as the weekend comes along.
Chubb is healthy again and I expect him to see more carries this week. Chubb received 16 carries last week and was vultured by D’Ernest Johnson for a touchdown. The Cincinnati Bengals gave up 77 yards on the ground and 95 yards in the air to Michael Carter last week. Chub is coming into a nice matchup and is worth a spot on your roster.
Wide Receivers
Rashod Bateman: Fanduel – $5,400/Draftkings – $4,000
Brandin Cooks: Fanduel – $6,800/Draftkings – $6,100
Keenan Allen: Fanduel – $7,000/Draftkings – $6,700
Bateman has played two games after returning from injury. Bateman was targeted six times in each game. In the most recent game, Bateman had 80 yards receiving. This week may be the perfect game for Bateman to break out. At the price this week Bateman is a guy I want to take the risk on.
Cooks finished week eight with six catches for 83 yards and a touchdown. Cooks does not jump off the page and scream for anyone to put him in their lineups but at the price this week I am going to trust Davis Mills can get Cooks the ball.
Allen found the endzone last week for the first time since Week 3. The Mike Williams splash seems to have faded a bit and Keenan Allen is staying as consistent as he always has been. You can bet on six to eight catches for Allen. He is at a great price to take advantage of this week.
Tight End and D/ST
Tyler Conklin, TE: Fanduel – $5,200/Draftkings – $3,000
Cowboys, D/ST: Fanduel – $3,900/Draftkings – $3,300
Conklin will not make you rush to your DFS lineups and search him, but I think this may be a solid play for him this week. Baltimore has struggled against tight ends. The tight end spot is as tough as anything to navigate in DFS and I am all for the risks and finding value. Tyler Conklin fits the risk.
The Cowboys are at home this week and have been consistent week to week. They have a talented young defense and should have no issue slowing the Denver Broncos down this week.
Flex
Ja’Marr Chase: Fanduel – $7,900
Travis Kelce: Draftkings – $7,000
On Fanduel, we are rolling with Ja’Marr at the flex. In Draftkings it will be Travis Kelce. Ja’Marr Chase followed up his 200-yard game with only thirty-two yards in week eight. The targets were there for Chase as Burrow targeted him eight times, but the catches and yards were not. I am expecting a bounce-back game for Chase and the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Kansas City Chiefs have struggled this season. Travis Kelce has remained consistent. The targets and receptions have been there for Kelce, it is the lack of touchdowns that may draw people away. He comes at a great price this week.
Values and Honorable Mentions
Tua Tagovailoa, QB: Fanduel – $7,300/Draftkings – $5,800
Boston Scott, RB: Fanduel – $6,300/Draftkings – $5,200
Amari Cooper, WR: Fanduel – $6,900/Draftkings – $5,700
Devante Parker, WR: Fanduel – $6,200/Draftkings – $5,300
Zach Ertz, WR: Fanduel – $5,900/Draftkings – $4,700
I would not fault you for adding any of the above-mentioned players to your lineup this week. They all hold incredible value. If I were to try to switch it up at all, Amari Cooper is the player I would get in my lineup.
