This is your Wild Card Weekend DFS Minute. Here are my DraftKings and Fanduel lineups for the Sunday Wild Card slate of games.
Anyone that plays Daily Fantasy Sports wants their share of the pie. May you find this week’s lineups to be helpful in putting some cash in your pockets. There are several ways to play DFS in the playoffs.
My main focus will be the Sunday slate of games, but you can also see a listed lineup for the Saturday games and my Captain/MVP picks for each individual game below! Due to the extra lineups, I have omitted an OwnersBox lineup. I will post my OwnersBox lineup on Twitter on Saturday morning.
Quarterback
Dak Prescott: Fanduel $8,000/Draftkings $6,700
Dak Prescott finished as one of the hottest quarterbacks going into the postseason. Prescott threw for twelve touchdowns in the final three weeks of the season. He flashed why he was so coveted during fantasy drafts this year.
San Francisco has been playing solid defense to finish the season but I am expecting Prescott to continue his hot streak. I am looking for the Cowboys quarterback to throw for 285 yards and three touchdowns.
Running Backs
Leonard Fournette: Fanduel $7,300/Draftkings $5,600
Miles Sanders: Fanduel $5,900/Draftkings $5,000
Leonard Fournette appears to be on pace for a return for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In a week six matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, Fournette rushed for 81 yards and caught six passes. I expect Fournette to bounce back strong upon his return.
Miles Sanders is close to returning to the lineup for the Philadelphia Eagles as well. His situation will obviously be worth monitoring as the game gets closer. I would pivot to Eli Mitchell if Sanders cannot play. In his week six matchup with the Buccaneers, Sanders only carried the ball nine times but averaged six yards a carry. If the Eagles keep it close I expect a heavy dose of Sanders.
Wide Receivers
Cedrick Wilson: Fanduel $6,000/Draftkings $4,300
Deebo Samuel: Fanduel $8,7000/Draftkings $7,900
Mecole Hardman: Fanduel $5,700/Draftkings $4,100
Cedrick Wilson has had his fair share of solid games this season. Wilson comes at a great price in the first round of the playoffs. Wilson has had twelve total targets in the last two weeks and has caught eleven of those targets. The Cowboys receiver has still found plenty of time on the field to go with Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb. He is the X factor in the Cowboy’s offense.
Not much needs to be said about Deebo Samuel. Samuel is the epitome of a dual-threat on the field. In his case, it comes in the form of rushing and receiving. He may be one of the most expensive and chalkiest plays this week but he is also a must-play.
Mecole Hardman is coming off one of the best, if not the best game of his career in week 18. Tyreek Hill hurt his foot and was non-existent most of the game. Hardman took advantage of the extra targets and turned it into eight catches for 103 yards. In week 16 Hardman had a touchdown against the Steelers. I see Hardman catching five to seven passes this week.
Tight End/D/ST
Rob Gronkowski: Fanduel $7,400/Draftkings $6,400
Kansas City Chiefs: Fanduel $4,800/Draftkings $3,300
The Philadelphia Eagles are terrible against tight ends and Rob Gronkowski will be the beneficiary this weekend. Gronkowski has two straight games with seven catches and over 100 yards. You can expect Tom Brady to find the weakness of the Eagles defense and exploit it with Rob Gronkowski. Like Deebo Samuel, Gronkowski is a must-play.
It is hard to pick any defense on Sunday because I believe all games will be high-scoring. The team with the best chance of dominating is the Kansas City Chiefs. In week 16 the Chiefs held the Pittsburgh Steelers to ten points.
Flex
Dalton Schultz: Fanduel $6,200/Draftkings $5,000
Dalton Schultz turned into one of Dak Prescott’s favorite targets near the end of the season. In weeks 15-17, Schultz totaled 22 catches. I expect the San Francisco 49ers to do their best to neutralize Amari Cooper and Cee Dee Lamb, leaving Dalton Schultz and Cedrick Wilson as the beneficiaries.
