Injury: Ankle Injury
Injury Date: 9/3/2024
Expected Recovery Time: 2-3 weeks
Player to Target: LB Nakobe Dean

The Philadelphia Eagles LB corps has been a problem child for them for the past several years. It appears this year is no different as projected starting LB Devin White has been ruled out for this week with an ankle injury. White picked up the injury in practice on Tuesday and it will unfortunately cost him the ability to play in NFL Week 1.

With White out of the picture, this creates a great opportunity for the promising young LB Nakobe Dean. Dean is a player who has shown some flashes in his career but his career has been derailed by injury.  The young Eagles LB is currently 9.5 months out from his Lisfranc injury he suffered last season and Week 1 will be his first real game reps since. There is some risk with targeting Nakobe Dean here but the opportunity will be there for him.
