Or maybe you want to start setting your squad up for the 2025 season. Either way, don’t stand pat and let IDP players pass you by on the waiver wire or trade block. No moves usually mean no championships… Ever!
Week 14 IDP Dynasty Buys
Safety – Ar’Darius Washington – Baltimore Ravens
This fourth-year player who went undrafted during the 2021 NFL draft has earned his place on the field this year. Washington has played so well while on the field that the Ravens waived Eddie Jackson two weeks ago and placed Marcus Williams on the inactive list last week. Williams had played just one snap in each of the previous two games before last week. Jackson was getting a majority of the snaps through Week 8 and Williams was playing nearly every snap through Week 10. Washington played 9% of the defensive snaps in Week 1 and has grown his snap percentage all the way to 100% for the last three weeks. He has scored double-digit points in six of the last seven games. Washington had a high tackle game in Week 11 with 12 tackles against the Steelers. During this recent 7 game stretch, Washington has posted 40 tackles (28 solo), 5 tackles for a loss, 2 QB hits, 1 sack, 4 passes defended, and 1 interception. He has solidified his spot in the Ravens lineup and needs to solidify his spot on your Week 14 IDP Dynasty roster.
LB – Josey Jewell – Carolina Panthers
Since Jewell came back from his hamstring and groin strains in Week 8 against the Denver Broncos, he has been ultra-consistent with four 20+ point games in his five games played. He has averaged 8.2 tackles per game while posting a combined 5 tackles for a loss, 2 QB hits, 2 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, 2 passes defended, and 1 interception over these 5 games. Jewell has played every defensive snap over this period also. He gets to play against the 23rd and 27th-ranked teams in allowed points to opposing LBs. He should finish the year very strong and help win some championships in 2024. The 29-year-old LB has a lot still left in his tank.
Safety – Xavier Woods – Carolina Panthers
Woods is another 29-year-old that can have immediate impact on your Week 14 IDP Dynasty team. He has scored 24+ points in each of the past three games. Woods is on his way to new career highs in tackles and interceptions. He has played every single snap on defense in the 2024 season. After this week against the Philadelphia Eagles and their #6 ranking against opposing Safeties, he gets the #17, #23, and #29 for your IDP fantasy football playoffs. Woods has had eight games with seven or more tackles. He has had only one game below five tackles. That is the consistency you want in your starting Safety as you bear down on this year’s championship.
