With four teams on a bye this week, waivers this week are so important.
With injuries continuing to be an issue weekly and now four teams on a bye. How you react to waivers could be a crucial piece for your success this week.
Defensive Tackle: Week 10 Fantasy Football Must-Add
Grover Stewart – Indianapolis Colts
Grover Stewart comes into week ten of the NFL as DT2 only behind Dexter Lawrence. Stewart is having his best fantasy season of his career averaging six points per game. He currently has three sacks this season and a total of thirty-six tackles. Stewart is coming off a great week nine performance with two sacks and two QB hits as well as a forced fumble.
Quinnen Williams – New York Jets
So, Williams may be rostered a bit more than other defensive tackles, but he is still worth trying to roster in your IDP league. He hasn’t had the greatest season compared to past years so there is a chance he is there. Williams has had two great weeks where he has four sacks and a total of six QB hits as well. He has a great stretch of matchups that should allow him to make plays in the backfield.
Defensive End:
Josh Sweat – Philadelphia Eagles
Josh Sweat is new to my list but well deserving. In the last five games, he has averaged just over seven points a game and has had five sacks as well. He is not known for his tackles so if you’re scoring in your IDP league is tackle-focused, then he may be someone who stays on waivers. He has two juicy matchups in the next two weeks against the Dallas Cowboys with a suspect offensive line and backup Cooper Rush in and Washington Commanders in week eleven.
Dante Fowler Jr – Washington Commanders
Now I have had Fowler on a previous article, and he continues to be on waivers in most leagues. Fowler Jr can be inconsistent, so I understand the worries of not wanting to put him on your roster or even starting him. He is a very sack-dependent DE/LB in fantasy but in the three out of the last four games, Fowler Jr has a total of five sacks and averaged 15.7 points a game.
Calais Campbell – Miami Dolphins
Calais Campbell deserves more love and rostering this fantasy season. Campbell has been solid in the tackling department as of late. He has seen sixteen total tackles in the last three games and continues to be an important piece for the Miami Dolphins run defense. He’s a savvy veteran and continues to be a presence and is a nice streaming defensive end, especially in deeper leagues.
Linebacker: Week 10 Fantasy Football Must-Add
Jamien Sherwood – New York Jets
What a great game in week nine for Sherwood. He had seven solo tackles and two sacks putting him in double-digit scoring. Sherwood is currently LB16 this season and yet he isn’t rostered as high as you would assume. Currently averaging eight fantasy points a game and a total of seventy-six tackles so far this year. He is on pace to finish this season with 143 tackles and has cemented himself as a great linebacker in fantasy.
Daiyan Henley – Los Angeles Chargers
Wow, a fourteen-tackle performance for Henley against the Cleveland Browns and another double-digit tackle performance in two weeks. He has cemented himself as a solid week-to-week starter and has some great matchups coming up. He will be facing the Titans, Falcons, and Ravens who are a run-heavy team. Henley should continue his double-digit tackle performance going forward.
Nate Landman – Atlanta Falcons
Landman is coming off a ten-tackle performance against the Dallas Cowboys and is currently averaging seven points per game, currently. Since coming back from injury in week six, he is currently averaging seven tackles a game and has three force fumbles in those four games. Ellis is getting a lot of the attention which is well deserved but Landman is available and has done amazing alongside Ellis.
Defensive Back:
Tre’Von Moehrig – Las Vegas Raiders
I mentioned Moehrig before, but he continues to be available in a lot of leagues. He is currently DB5 so far this season and is averaging 7.9p points per game and has hit double-digit fantasy points in three out of the last four games. Now the Raiders are on a bye in week ten, but he is worth stashing even if he doesn’t play this week.
Damar Hamlin – Buffalo Bills
Another player I have mentioned on YouTube and our articles yet, he continues to be rostered very little in most leagues. I’m not sure if it’s his name or it’s the Bills but Hamlin is DB15 for the season and he is consistently a solid starter every week. Hamlin is coming off ten-tackle performance and has a total of fifty-seven tackles so far. I love his week ten matchup as well against the Indianapolis Colts.
Deommodore Lenoir – San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers are coming off their bye and Lenoir is a great waiver to grab. In the last four games, he currently has a total of thirty tackles, four pass deflections, and two interceptions. He is averaging eleven points in those four games and has become a big piece in the 49ers run defense.
