The fantasy playoffs are just around the corner. We hope you’ve been following along, adding our suggestions up until this point. If not, here’s the offensive waiver wire Week 11 suggestions!
@DynastySanta tagging in here to bring you our waiver wire Week 11 recommendations! @FFProdigalSon has done a bang-up job all year long. Waiver wires are likely to the point of slim pickings right now. However, I’ll do my best to guide you towards some pick-ups and stashes.
The Obvious
Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, New England Patriots
The Ram was finally set loose in Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns. Some of us have been desperately holding him all year in preparation for this moment. And he did not disappoint. Stevenson was a bellcow, even doing something Damien Harris doesn’t, catch the ball!
It’s likely Harris returns from concussion protocol next week, muddying the New England backfield waters again. However, Stevenson has absolutely made a case for himself and somehow is only rostered in 32% of Yahoo leagues. He’ll be this week’s most coveted free agent. Empty your remaining FAAB for him.
Rashod Bateman, WR, Baltimore Ravens
The rookie is catching fire, which is generally what happens to rookie WRs as the season progresses. Don’t miss the breakout game that is inevitably coming. And at the most opportune time, heading into the fantasy playoffs. Bateman is still only rostered in 50% of Yahoo leagues. I’d leave myself maybe $1 FAAB in order to acquire him.
Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers
He was brought along slowly, for good reason. But it appears Cam has “still got it” and should take the full reigns this week. He absolutely has league-winning upside.
Other obvious candidates. RBs are hard to come by this time of the year. Unload FAAB for any RBs listed here.
Darrel Williams, RB, Kansas City Chiefs – CEH may have just lost his job after this week
Mark Ingram, RB, New Orleans Saints
AJ Dillon, RB, Green Bay Packers – Aaron Jones likely going to miss time. Wheels up for AJD
Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots – Ride the TD wave
Hunter Renfrow, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
Tony Pollard, RB, Dallas Cowboys – If you have the room to stash him, do it
Jakobi Meyers, WR, New England Patriots
Dan Arnold, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars – How is he still so widely available???
The Bold
Matt Breida, RB, Buffalo Bills
Of COURSE, Matt frickin’ Breida comes out of nowhere this week to score two tuddies and be the top Bills’ running back against the New York Jets. This was the first week that Breida received any significant snaps (14%), but still did finish behind both Devin Singletary (38%) and Zack Moss (48%). However, Breida was efficient with his touches, something neither Singletary nor Moss can claim from pretty much the entirety of this season so far. Breida is worth a spot on deeper rosters.
Kendrick Bourne, WR, New England Patriots
Bourne had his best game of the year against the Cleveland Browns this week. The Browns had been trending well against opposing wide receivers, but Bourne put a stop to that. He’s going to continue to be wildly inconsistent, but it seems when he is on the field, he’s getting targets and touches. Worthy of a deeper league bench spot.
Other Stash candidates (Deep Rosters Only):
Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans – He was probably dropped by needy managers since he was on a bye
Tyler Johnson, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Antonio Brown continues to miss time & Chris Godwin is banged up
Tyler Conklin, TE, Minnesota Vikings – Was TD reliant this week, which isn’t usually the case. If he is actually going to get red zone looks…To. The. Moon. Could be a 2019 Higbee-esque type league winner at TE
Mac Jones, QB, New England Patriots – The Pats are peaking at the right time and Jones is solid. You could do a lot worse (looking at YOU Matt Ryan)
DeAndre Carter, WR, Washington Football Team – He was a fade/sit/trap guy before this week. I’m a believer, stash him
Latavius Murray, RB, Baltimore Ravens – He’s easily the best RB left on the roster. If he can get healthy, he’s got a great, solid 10 point floor
Tre’Quan Smith, WR, New Orleans Saints
Robby Anderson, WR, Carolina Panthers – Cam is BACK *eyeballs emoji*
Wayne Gallman, RB. Atlanta Falcons – Cordarrelle Patterson is banged up, and Mike Davis STINKS
The Traps
These guys I just simply don’t believe in. They are going to be even more inconsistent than the above stash players. Let someone else in your league take the bait.
Bryan Edwards, WR, Las Vegas Raiders – Garbage time/comeback game script. No thanks
Ray-Ray McCloud, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers – Claypool should be coming back, plus it was the Lions
Marcus Johnson, WR, Tennessee Titans – You’ll probably see him as a must-add in most waiver wire reviews. Keep in mind, Marshon Lattimore is pretty much a shut-down CB. Most NFL teams don’t have one of those
Byron Pringle, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
Jermar Jefferson, RB, Detroit Lions – Swift is the bellcow, Jefferson broke a lucky TD run in limited snaps (4%)
Jamal Agnew, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars – All production came on one play
Isaiah Ford, WR, Miami Dolphins
Best of luck with your waiver wire Week 11 claims!
