Catch These Winning Moneyline & Spread Bets for the Week 1 2024 Kickoff!

The NFL season is almost here. While some of you may be enjoying what’s left of the summer or sending the kids off to school, I’ve been looking at what the sportsbooks have to offer. They released the moneyline & spread bets for Week 1 of the NFL Season not too long ago. Let’s take a look at a couple of single bets I placed after receiving some profit boosts.Top 5 NFL Week 1 Bets

Texans @ Colts:

I really like the Texans in Indy for Week 1. If you remember from last year, the Colts secondary gave up a lot of air yards. They drafted two Safeties & a Cornerback earlier this year. Kenny Moore & Julian Blackmon are gonna need some serious help from them. C.J. Stroud has two new offensive weapons to work with this season, a deep threat in WR Stefon Diggs, and even RB Joe Mixon has been viewed as a “pass-catching back”. Regarding the home team, the Indianapolis Colts may have at least one new WR in A.D. Mitchell but QB Anthony Richardson is returning from a season-ending injury. With a 10% boost at -2, give me the Texans spread at +100.

CeeDee Lamb anytime TD:

Some of you may remember the last time CeeDee Lamb scored against the Browns was also his first career TD. The Browns’ secondary has gotten stronger since then with the additions of Safeties Juan Thornhill and more recently Rodney McLeod. Alongside Greg Newsome & Denzel Ward is 3rd-year Cornerback Martin Emerson JR. QB Dak Prescott may throw to TE Jake Ferguson or aging WR Brandin Cooks, but he’ll be looking for CeeDee Lamb first & foremost. I took this bet on Draft Kings at +140 and the day CeeDee signed his new contract, it went up to +170. Take it as high as you can get it!

Raiders @ Chargers:

Look, I don’t want to go off this divisional game from last year. Raiders fans will remember that game forever. The defense completely tore apart the Chargers, it cost Brandon Staley his job, and it secured one for Antonio Pierce. Going into the 2024 season, Maxx Crosby (EMU graduate from Ypsilanti, MI) received some assistance from Christian Wilkins who’s coming from a Dolphins defense that scored the most out of any defense last season. Nevertheless, Justin Herbert is playing in a brand new offense with 2 of the starting Wide Receivers being rookies. Before I added the boost, the Raiders moneyline was at +135. It has since gone up on Draft Kings at +145 & on FanDuel at +164. I would definitely take this as a single.

Rams @ Lions:

Talk about not wanting to go off last season. This Sunday night home opener at Ford Field could very much be like the playoff game these two teams had back in January. The difference now is that the Rams are not only without DT Aaron Donald who retired, but their defensive line is ranked near the bottom while the Lions offensive line is ranked one of the top if not number one. Back in July, I parlayed the Lions moneyline along with the 49ers winning their home opener against the Jets at +384.

Jets @ 49ers:

If Aaron Rodgers goes down on the first drive on the first Monday Night Football game of the year, again, I can’t see the Jets winning in OT like they did against the Bills. Both of these teams have phenomenal defenses with two of the best Running Backs in the league. Of course, the 49ers have an offense that’s way more put together. The Jets have added veteran WR Mike Williams in the offseason to join standout WR Garrett Wilson, but we haven’t even seen the floor for what TE Ty Conklin can do and we’ve seen well past the ceiling for George Kittle. Plus, Williams missed nearly the entire season last year after tearing his ACL. So how much are we really expecting from Aaron Rodgers in the passing game? Coming off the Super Bowl, I don’t see Brock Purdy slowing down. I have more than enough confidence in Kyle Shanahan coaching his team to a win and parlaying the moneyline with my Detroit Lions.

Since I have yet to deposit anything into my Hard Rock account, I’m not wagering high amounts. And sometimes, that’s not the worst thing.
