This exercise is to take a look at the rankings our wonderful writers have made over the past two weeks. Using those lists (108 total players, 9 positions, and 12 names apiece) I re-ranked positions and then combined those rankings for a full 108, a 2024 fantasy football rankings combined article, if you will.. Note that only the named players were ranked, but these are not necessarily the top 108 players in Dynasty football (WR13 probably > DT7, for example). These rankings have been broken into 5 tables, which will be paired with an analysis of a few from each group. These rankings are based on a 1QB, balanced IDP scoring system.

After the rankings, I will discuss some honorable mentions. There will be three names at each position that either I have in my personal top 12s or think deserve some mention. Now, let us dive in and take a look at how these top dynasty players stack up, going in groups of 24! On to the 2024 dynasty rankings combined article!

Chris Olave – New Orleans Saints

The 7th overall ranking is probably much higher than expected at first glance. Heck, it was for me and I am an Olave truther! Olave finished as WR16 in PPR this season while finishing top 17 league-wide in targets, receptions, and yards. He had the WR16 finish despite missing a game and having only 5 TDs. If he can jump to 8 TDs per year, he will be a sure top 8 WR for the next 5+ years.

Travis Kelce – Kansas City Chiefs/Sam LaPorta – Detroit Lions

Time remains undefeated, but Travis Kelce is putting up a helluva fight. Sam LaPorta burst onto the scene this season, having one of the best rookie TE seasons we have seen. In most places, you will see LaPorta over Kelce, but I have them flipped. Now, this is largely a win-now vs tomorrow debate. LaPorta was TE1 overall this year but had the same (Half PPR) points per game as Kelce.

With Ben Johnson’s inevitable departure, natural regression (remember Kyle Pitts’ record-breaking rookie year?), and Kelce having a significantly better QB, LaPorta feels due to disappointing in 2024. He is a better option if you want to win in 2026 and beyond, but Kelce is still the TE1 for today.
