The Best Week 6 DFS Fantasy Football NFL All-Star Stud Lineup

You’ve found the Best Week 6 DFS Fantasy Football Lineup with These NFL All-Star Players!

It’s Week Six and it’s one of those weeks in DFS. One of those weeks where everyone seems priced appropriately. One of those weeks where there aren’t a lot of obvious low-priced value plays to conserve salary. It’s one of those weeks where you can’t game theory or structure yourself to a cash. It’s one of those weeks when you’ll have to *gasp* make calls on players to win (or cash) your contests. But fret not, we’re here to help make those calls!

Quarterback

In a week when pricing is tight, it’s tempting to pay down at QB to create salary space. That’s exactly why you should be craving the stability of the Quarterbacks at the top of the pool. While everyone else is taking chances, you’ll be locking in the safest top-tier production.

You don’t have to go all the way to the top of the price list to get an elite QB option. Jalen Hurts ($8300/13.8% of available salary on FanDuel, $7200/14.4% on DraftKings) gets his receiver room back from injury this week. Coming of their bye week, the Eagles get a Cleveland team that’s ready to implode at any moment. I want to be invested when that happens.

You have to get south of Kyler Murray before you find another quarterback whose price point makes the savings relative to the top options worth the risk they present. Is the $1000 you’ll save on someone like Kirk Cousins worth the risk that Week 5 was the outlier in his early season production profile? Worth the risk of him playing on the road and outdoors? Worth the risk of this being the week they try to get Bijan Robinson going?

Running Back Week 4 DFS Fantasy Football

Which Detroit Running Back should I start this week? How many ya got? Dallas’ run defense and a game total tied for the highest on the slate provides opportunity for both Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery to thrive. Their respective price points reflect the scoring differences between the two main DFS sites. Montgomery is priced higher of 1/2-PPR FanDuel ($7900 vs. $7800), while Gibbs is more expensive ($7000 vs. $6500) of full-PPR DraftKings.

Bucky Irving is a late week potential screaming value with Rachaad White doubtful to play Sunday. Irving ($5700 FD/$5400 DK) will be a fixture in cash game lineups, especially of FanDuel. I’ll be comfortable fading him in tournament lineups. New Orleans will be starting Spencer Rattler in place of the injured Derek Carr. It’s unlikely they’ll be able to push Tampa into needing to score enough points for Irving to be the answer in a large field tournament.

Wide Receiver

See above: Hurts, Jalen. AJ Brown’s got a lot of lost time to make up for and this is the perfect environment to do so. He’s an especially good deal on FanDuel where his $8100 salary is only 13.5% of available. He’s still a fine play on DK at $7800 (15.6%).

Down the pricelist a bit, Drake London seems underpriced ($7400 FD, $6700 DK) for someone who’s gotten 25 targets in the last two games.

Among the paydown options at receiver, another player coming off bye and getting healthier seems ready to break out. De’Andre Hopkins ($5800 FD, $5100 DK) gets his first crack at the Colts defense. He’s only had one usable game so far this year, but the bye week should help him recover from his preseason knee injury. It’s not like Calvin Ridley has done anything opposite DHop.

Tight End

In this week and in this environment, it’s tough to pay up for a Tight End. If you have the salary space, Trey McBride should be the top player on your list. He’s a week removed from his concussion and should be close to full health. The Packers provide both a game environment conducive to point scoring and an opponent that has struggled to defend Tight Ends (13 targets allowed to Colby Parkinson last week).

For the majority who are going to be looking to save cap at Tight End, you’ll find affordable options playing with the two first-time QB starters. Hunter Henry ($5000 FD, $3800 DK) and my Russell Erxleben Memorial Punt Play of the Week Juwan Johnson ($5100 FD, $3100 DK) should get reliable checkdown volume from Drake Maye and Spencer Rattler, respectively.

Defense

Speaking of rookies making their first NFL starts, they make great fodder for starting Defenses in DFS. Houston is a perfectly viable at $5000 on FanDuel and $3600 on DraftKings. I prefer Tampa ($3700 FD, $2600 DK) since the Derek Carr injury happened Monday Night after DFS pricing had already been released. Those prices do not reflect a team with four extra days of rest getting to tee off on an NFL virgin.
