More than any other position, IDP edge prospects are such valuable players to understand. They don’t grow linearly and take time, but elite young players are the best Dynasty IDP Prospects assets to roster. They are the safest long-term bets. The Cream of the Crop

Jared Verse, Dallas Turner, and Laiatu Latu are the “Big Three” at the top as all possess future Edge1 potential. The ranking is just personal preference for now pending scheme and team fit, plus draft capital. For some context on why draft capital matters, see the tweet below. As you can see, draft capital matters for edges. Verse is my personal favorite, as he’s still an ascending talent. The story of Verse going to Albany is worth noting but he was a TE in high school so who cares about redshirting at a small school? Verse is still raw and learning the nuances of pass rushing. His build and athleticism, along with solid college production at a big school, is enticing and makes him Edge1.
Dallas Turner is the pass rush specialist who, while second, could easily be first in many rankings. He sets a great edge and can play the run and pass very well. He bends the edge well and can win around the edge or with power. Hopefully, his productivity can take a leap with a better system that allows him to go after the QB more aggressively. One of the high upside IDP edge prospects.
Laiatu Latu is a stud, absolutely no doubt about it. Two big concerns I have are athleticism and health. The combine will be huge for Latu, as the production would have him in line for the top of this class. He’s not the athlete on film of the top two. He left Washington after medically retiring due to neck injuries and which NFL teams will have him on the board is still an open question, but the talent is for real.
