Week 4 IDP Sleepers

Note: All rankings for this Week 4 IDP Sleepers article are taken from the Week 4 rankings at FantasyPros. As always, let’s start things off by setting some expectations for this article. What this article will NOT be doing is telling you to expect big things from the “stars” of IDP. Projecting that Myles Garrett or Derwin James is going to have a great week isn’t really rocket science, nor will that help you. What this article WILL be doing is giving you players that have a great chance to outperform their weekly ranking. Ok, enough logistics! Let’s get to our Week 4 IDP Sleepers!

Defensive Line Week 4 Sleepers

Nik Bonitto – (DL29)

Week 4 Opponent: Hosting the Cincinnati Bengals

Let’s kick this thing off by talking about Nik Bonitto. He’s easily my favorite sleeper this week, coming in ranked as the DL29 for Week 4. Last week, Bonitto racked up two sacks, five combined tackles, and a staggering 5 QB hits against the Chargers. We all know that the Chargers had, at worst, an above-average offensive line, so putting up these kinds of stats against them is impressive.

Who does Bonitto face in Week 4? Why, it’s the Cincinnati Bengals and their notoriously awful offensive line! Bonitto gets the snaps and gets the production to be an every league starter where you’re starting two defensive linemen. This is even more obvious when he’s playing a team such as the Bengals. Ranking him as the DL29 makes no sense to me, as he has a top 20 finish written all over him this week.

If you are in a state where you can make player prop bets, I’d splash a little on an anytime sack for this guy. Play him with confidence as your DL2!

D.J. Wonnum – (DL52)

Week 4 Opponent: Away at the New England Patriots

Wonnum being ranked as the DL52 makes some sense when you consider his performance thus far this year. In the past two Weeks, Wonnum has averaged only 3 total combined tackles a week. So why am I bullish on him this week? A few reasons! First of all, Wonnum is averaging 72% of defensive snaps played. His lack of production isn’t due to him not being on the field, so it’s only a matter of time before he has his big day.

The second reason why Wonnum is in this sleeper article is due to who he is playing: the New England Patriots. Drake Maye is the second-most-sacked QB thus far this season, making this a clear get-right spot for the defensive lineman. The chance at some splash plays, coupled with the Patriots’ desire to establish the run game, leads to a nice fantasy floor for Wonnum.

He’s best viewed as a flex option in really deep leagues. When he goes off this week on your bench, don’t tell me I didn’t warn you!

Linebacker Sleepers

Devin White – (LB19)

Week 4 Opponent: Hosting the Chicago Bears

Moving on to the linebacker position, let’s talk about the much-maligned Devin White! White has a bit of a negative connotation to his name as he vastly underperformed based on expectations set on him early in his career. Thankfully for us, we don’t care about the past! We live in the here and now! This year with the Raiders, White has played 100% of defensive snaps and is averaging a healthy 8 combined tackles per game.

So who do the Raiders get to play in Week 4? It’s the Chicago Bears! The Bears seemingly figured something out offensively last week against the Cowboys, so sustained drives will lead to plenty of tackle opportunities for this every-down linebacker. While the Bears have an improved offensive line, Caleb Williams is still in the middle of the pack for sacks. White has a real opportunity this week for a nice tackle floor with the potential for a splash play or two.

Start White with confidence as your LB2, with the upside of an LB1 week in tow.

Logan Wilson – (LB29)

Week 4 Opponent: Away at the Denver Broncos

Up next is the consummate professional Logan Wilson. Wilson has a bad rep in the fantasy community as a “boring” fantasy asset. You know what’s not boring? Averaging seven combined tackles and a pass defended a game in 2025. The lack of splash play production is why he is ranked as the LB29 this week, but I’m here to tell you that you can expect more in Week 4!

As with most of my sleepers, they make it in this article based on who they are playing. The Denver Broncos are the number 1 team when it comes to linebacker production against them. Perhaps it’s their dedication to the run game, or perhaps it’s because Bo Nix checks down all the time. No matter the reason, you want to start linebackers who are going against the Broncos.

So here comes Wilson, a regular top-24 guy, with a fantasy-friendly matchup, being ranked at LB29? He’ll be finishing higher than that this week, I can guarantee it!

Defensive Back Sleepers

Quentin Lake – (DB22)

Week 4 Opponent: Hosting the Indianapolis Colts

Finally, let’s get to the defensive backs! Quentin Lake had a breakout campaign last year, but has yet to recapture the same magic this year. This is most likely due to the Rams nabbing Kam Curl in the offseason, who is back to his usual fantasy-stud self. That being said, Lake is still a valuable asset, especially in leagues that reward you for passes defended. Last week, Lake had 6 combined tackles and 4 passes defended.

So why is Lake here? It’s all due to playing the Indianapolis Colts! I know what you’re thinking: the Colts and Daniel Jones haven’t really turned the ball over much this year. That is true, but they have not played a defensive line like the Rams’. I see the game flow being that the Colts will need to pass and pass a lot, leading to plenty of opportunities for both Lake and Curl to be fantasy relevant.

Lake being ranked as the DB22 feels accurate, so this is less of a “sleeper” pick and more of a “trust the process with this talented player” pick. Start him where you have him.

Kerby Joseph – (DB45)

Week 4 Opponent: Hosting the Cleveland Browns

The final player in the article this week is Kerby Joseph! Joseph being ranked as the DB45 is a crime! He’s been battling a knee injury, which can help explain his lack of production thus far this year. That being said, he has been on the field for 87% of defensive snaps on the whole. In the past two years, Joseph was more of an every-down player, so I expect that number to get higher as the year progresses.

Insert the Week 4 matchup: the Cleveland Browns! Talk about a great get-right game for this defensive back. Joe Flacco is tied for second with the most interceptions thus far this year, meaning there will be plenty of opportunities for splash plays. Game script-wise, the Lions should be up big against this Browns team, making the Browns go more pass-heavy. A healthy floor of tackles with the potential for splash plays is a recipe for a nice sleeper!

As the DB45, there aren’t huge expectations for Joseph this week. As such, if you need a nice injury filler for a player who has DB3 upside based on the matchup this week, look no further than Kerby Joseph!
