What a Week 1 of the NFL season! We saw our favorite stars put up some great starts in Myles Garrett and Bobby Okereke. We have a surprise leader in the clubhouse for sacks in Harold Landry (only a surprise for those of you who missed my Week 1 sleeper article, that is!). No matter how you slice it, it’s just great to have football back. What’s done is done, however, so it’s time to look forward to our NFL Week 2 IDP sleepers to either keep your campaign going strong or nabbing that first win!

As always, let’s start things off by setting some expectations for this article. What this article will NOT be doing is telling you to expect big things from the “stars” of IDP. Projecting that Roquan Smith or Maxx Crosby is going to have a great week isn’t really rocket science, nor will that help you. What this article WILL be doing is giving you players that have a great chance to outperform their weekly ranking. Ok, enough logistics! Let’s get to our Week 2 IDP Sleepers!

Travon Walker – Jacksonville Jaguars (DL18)
Week 2 Opponent: Away against the Cincinnati Bengals
Walker had a disappointing start to his season, only racking up one solo and one assisted tackle on 75% of snaps played in Week 1. While this is obviously not what you are looking for in your DL2, there is a great opportunity for Walker to take a step back in the right direction with a matchup against the horrid Cincinnati Bengals offensive line.
