NFL Week 2 DFS Veteran Lineup

NFL Week 2 DFS Veteran All-Star Lineup Picks

“Get ready for week 2 with these NFL Week 2 DFS veteran players in divisional matchups!”

Week 1 is in the books, and NFL Week 2 DFS is fast approaching. Many teams have already suffered injuries to key players, including two star tight ends who are highly relevant for fantasy football. As we head into NFL Week 2 DFS, finding the right players to target becomes crucial. Identifying key value plays and understanding the matchups will be essential for success in DFS this week.

LA Rams @ Arizona

QB Matthew Stafford: Even with an overtime loss at Ford Field on Sunday Night Football, Matthew Stafford still threw for over 315 yards. Now, the Rams are heading to the desert for a divisional matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Since joining the Rams, Stafford has thrown more than 225 yards each time against the Cardinals. Not to mention, Josh Allen burned them last week with 230 + in the air, two passing TDs, and two for himself. Cooper Kupp is at full health and DeMarcus Robinson seems to connect well with Stafford. Puka Nacua might be out a few weeks but I trust the veteran QB. Keep in mind this could be a high scoring game against an Arizona offense with a revitalized Kyler Murray & a few youthful pass catchers.

Arizona vs LA Rams

RB James Connor: Speaking of being revitalized, how about James Connor last week? 16 rushing attempts, over 80 yards total, and he scored. The LA Rams are coming to town and last week their defense allowed both Jahmyr Gibbs & David Montgomery to score. Gibbs rushed for 40 yards while Monty had over 90 to go with the game winning TD in overtime. This D line feels lost without Aaron Donald leading them. Expect James Connor to take advantage of that.

NY Giants @ Washington

WR Terry McLaurin: Could this be the week the Commanders finally beat their division rival NY Giants? Either way, I’m still going with Scary Terry in this matchup. The Giant’s defense last week looked like they never played football before, allowing Sam Darnold to throw for over 225 yards and a passing TD to Justin Jefferson. This offense in Washington may look to be more run heavy but Terry McLaurin is a veteran at this point and knows the Giant’s defense more than anyone else on the team. He’s incredibly affordable for DFS. This feels too good to pass up on.

Las Vegas @ Baltimore

TE Brock Bowers: The only TE who considerably had a successful fantasy game last week was Isaiah Likely. His value will never be this high if Mandrews re-evolves from Boydrews in the Ravens’ home opener against the Raiders. That being said, I’m looking at their opponent. In his NFL debut, Bowers led the team in receptions and had more receiving yards than Davante Adams. While it might not be the easiest matchup, I’m willing to give the rookie TE a chance in week 2.

Colts @ Packers

Colts Defense: I know I didn’t have nice things to say about the Colts’ defense last week, but that’s Week 1 for you. It’s hard to say that again this week when the QB they’re facing is Malik Willis. The Packers may have all their WRs, including Jayden Reed who scored twice last week against the Eagles. However, there are next to no chances of a repeat performance when relying on an inexperienced rushing QB. Not to mention, the Colts have seen what Willis could do when he was in Tennessee. They’re not even in the top 5 for DFS. Indy is worth streaming this week.
