Week 14 IDP Sleepers
Note: All rankings for this Week 14 IDP Sleepers article are taken from the Week 14 rankings at FantasyPros. As always, let’s start things off by setting some expectations for this article. What this piece will not be doing is hyping up obvious IDP stars — projecting that Aidan Hutchinson or Myles Garrett will have productive outings isn’t exactly breaking news. Instead, we’re focused on uncovering players with sneaky upside who can outperform their rankings.
Ok, enough logistics — let’s dive into our Week 14 IDP Sleepers!
Defensive Line Week 14 Sleepers

Dallas Turner – (DL39)
Week 14 Opponent: Hosting the Commanders
Kicking off this week’s article is the one the only, Dallas Turner! Turner is on a heater as of late, recording at least one sack in his past 3 games. Along with the splash plays, he’s also averaging 5 combined tackles in those games. That beautiful tackle floor, along with the splash play potential, makes Turner a potential league winner. So why is Turner ranked as the DL39 going into Week 14? Beats me!
Turner faces a Commanders team with question marks around who will be playing at QB. My argument is that regardless of whether it’s Marcus Mariota or Jayden Daniels, this matchup against a not-elite Commanders’ offensive line is an enticing one. You can play him as your DL3 with big upside this week.
Braden Fiske – (DL69)
Week 14 Opponent: Away at the Cardinals
This is a much deeper cut, I’ll give you that, but I really like Braden Fiske compared to his rankings this week. As the DL69, one can say the expectations are not too high for Fiske this week. BUT! He’s coming off a game with six combined tackles and a sack. He’s playing for a team that embarrassingly lost to the Panthers, so they will be hungry for a statement win against the lowly Cardinals.
The Rams will go up big early and will allow their defensive line to tee off on the Cardinals’ Quarterback. This will leave Fiske plenty of opportunities to rack up a splash play or two, and get a nice tackle floor while the Cardinals try to run early to keep Matthew Stafford off the field. He’s a bit of a long shot, but I think Fiske is worth consideration if you are desperate.

Edgerrin Cooper – (LB27)
Week 14 Opponent: Hosting the Bears
Cooper is not having quite the year everyone thought he would have, but he’s still putting up fairly decent numbers. He’s averaging a little more than 7 combined tackles a game, but has yet to put up the splash plays that would take his production to the next level. Insert a huge matchup against the Chicago Bears. Not just the Chicago Bears, but the “number one seed in the NFC” Chicago Bears. Man, that was weird to type.
Anyway, the Bears boast a great run game, which will lead to a healthy tackle floor for Cooper. Not just a healthy tackle floor, but I see Cooper exceeding the 10-tackle mark this week. This alone with make it so Cooper will exceed his LB27 rankings this week. Add in a random splash play or two, and we’re in business. Start him with confidence!
DeMarvion Overshown – (LB41)
Week 14 Opponent: Away at the Lions
Overshown has come back from injury with a vengeance! In the past two games, he has put up an average of 6 combined tackles, which is incredible considering how much he’s had to overcome from an injury perspective. Being ranked as the LB41 makes some sense, considering he’s yet to have a huge breakout. However, here’s my case for why I think Thursday night will be Overshowns’ coming-out party.
The Lions boast one of the best backfields with Gibbs and Montgomery. The Lions are coming off an embarrassing loss on Thanksgiving Day, and their best bet at sticking it to the Cowboys will be through the ground (especially with LaPorta out and St-Brown banged up). What does this mean for our linebacker? Well, a really healthy tackle floor! Expect Overshown to perform on prime time and play him as your IDP flex if you’ve got him!

Amani Hooker – (DB29)
Week 14 Opponent: Away at the Browns
A lot has gone wrong for the Titans this year, but Amani Hooker has been a bright spot from an IDP perspective. For one thing, he’s been healthy all year, which is huge! Averaging 5 combined tackles and playing 89% of defensive snaps, Hooker has proven he can be relied on as a DB2. So why is he on this list? You can look no further than who the Titans play in Week 14! Insert the Cleveland Browns!
Yes, in what can be defined as a “someone has to win” game, the Titans face off against the lowly Cleveland Browns. Shedeur Sanders has thrown an interception in two of his three appearances, which bodes well for Hooker’s chances to walk away from this game with a splash play. A nice tackle floor plus splash play potential makes Hooker one of my favorite sleepers this week! Play him with confidence as your DB2.
Daxton Hill – (DB47)
Week 14 Opponent: Away at the Bills
Wrapping up this week’s article is Daxton Hill! Hill is quietly having an excellent 2025 campaign. Playing 95% of defensive snaps, while racking up slightly over 6 combined tackles a game. This alone is worthy of more than the DB47 ranking that Hill is rocking this week. Take that for what it’s worth! I really see a big opportunity for Hill to have a great day, even by his current standards.
The Bengals take on a Buffalo Bills team that is slightly reeling. For whatever reason, Josh Allen hasn’t been quite the same this year, throwing 10 interceptions and turning the ball over at an alarming rate. We know the Bills will move the ball and extend drives, and with the Bills’ propensity for turning the ball over, this has IDP payday written all over it! Play Hill wherever you have him and don’t look back!
