Week 11 IDP Sleepers

Note: All rankings for this Week 11 IDP Sleepers article are taken from the Week 11 rankings at FantasyPros. As always, let’s start things off by setting some expectations for this article. What this piece will not be doing is hyping up obvious IDP stars — projecting that Aidan Hutchinson or Roquan Smith will have productive outings isn’t exactly breaking news. Instead, we’re focused on uncovering players with sneaky upside who can outperform their rankings.

It’s worth mentioning that just like finding hidden IDP value, savvy bettors are always looking for great gambling sites outside the U.S. If you’re exploring international markets, you’ll find several secure non GamStop bookmaker options offering unique odds and gaming experiences that rival major U.S. sportsbooks. Similar to spotting an overlooked linebacker or defensive lineman, success often comes down to doing the research and trusting your instincts.

Ok, enough logistics — let’s dive into our Week 11 IDP Sleepers!

Defensive Line Week 11 Sleepers

Bradley Chubb – (DL31)

Week 11 Opponent: Hosting the Commanders

Let’s kick things off with an AFC East defensive lineman! The Dolphins are an enigma. They signaled that they were sellers and looking to the future when they shipped Jaelan Phillips to the Eagles, and then they went and beat the Bills in Week 10. They still need to throw out a roster each week, and one of the beneficiaries from a playing time perspective with Phillips’ departure is Bradley Chubb!

In the first week without his playmate, Chubb had three combined tackles and got Josh Allen to the ground for a sack. This is lovely production! In Week 11, Chubb gets a Commanders team that is struggling to do much of anything. Without Jayden Daniels, Chubb is set to feast on Marcus Mariota and a bad offensive line. Play him in deeper leagues!

Jermaine Johnson – (DL37)

Week 11 Opponent: Away at the Patriots.

Up next, we have another AFC East linebacker in Jermaine Johnson! Johnson has played a robust 74% of defensive snaps this season, which is more than enough to produce for IDP relevance. Last week, Johnson posted 4 combined tackles and a sack, finally living up to some of us draft promise. Ranked as the DL37 this week, analysts apparently don’t think he will be able to reproduce that kind of production in Week 11.

However, the Jets are playing a Patriots team and Drake Maye, who just loves to get sacked! While the Patriots are heavy favorites in this game, it is still a Thursday night game where weird things tend to happen! A suspect offensive line and a QB that runs into hits, I like for Johnson to find paydirt in this game at least once. He’s a certified sleeper this week!

Azeez Al-Shaair – (LB33)

Week 11 Opponent: Away at the Titans

Some people call this entry a “dirty player”. While this may be so, you can’t argue that he’s a valuable IDP asset when he’s on the field. Averaging a solid 98% of defensive snaps played, Al-Shaair racks up volume stats with the best of them. Averaging close to 7 combined tackles a game, he’s a solid LB3 regardless of the league size you are in. So why is he finding his way into a sleeper article? Look at who he’s playing!

The Texans take on a Titans team that loves to run the ball and has been finding a little more offensive success in recent months. A linebacker facing a team that can sustain drives, especially one that likes to run the ball, is a recipe for IDP success! If you have Al-Shaair, you’re probably already starting him. But you can do so with confidence this week!

Nick Bolton – (LB29)

Week 11 Opponent: Away at the Broncos

My, how the mighty have fallen. Once regarded as a top-3 linebacker, Bolton has now fallen to be ranked as the LB29 this week. While not what he once was, there is room for optimism this week! The Chiefs go against a Broncos team that is on a roll, and one that we know can move the ball down the field. Bolton is also seeing the field for 96% of defensive snaps, so he’s ripe for a solid baseline of stats this week.

Adding to the optimism, Bolton is coming off his best game of the year, where he notched 14 combined tackles. If you have Nick Bolton, you are almost certainly going to start him. Ranked as the LB29, there is a chance that in shallower leagues, Bolton might be available on the waiver wire. If that’s your league, be sure to pick him up and start him as your LB2!

Kyle Dugger – (DB34)

Week 11 Opponent: Hosting the Bengals

Kyle Dugger has found himself on a new team, and a team that is in desperate need of his talents. In his first game with the Steelers, Dugger was on the field for 99% of defensive snaps, a great indicator for future IDP production. Since he was only on the field for 44% of defensive snaps as a Patriot, there’s a real chance Dugger is chilling on the waiver wire somewhere for you to snatch up!

Dugger and the Steelers take on a Bengals team that, say what you will about their defense, boasts a top-tier offensive unit. Any Safety playing against a team that moves the ball up and down the field is warranted consideration in your starting lineup. Dugger’s rank of DB34 will look silly this time next week!

Reed Blankenship – (DB40)

Week 11 Opponent: Hosting the Lions

Wrapping up this week’s article is another player who is having a slow year, but has historically been a solid IDP contributor. Reed Blankenship is coming off the best game of his year, notching seven combined tackles and forcing a fumble. He’s on the field for 98% of defensive snaps, so it’s only a matter of time until his playtime and opportunity lead to fantasy success. This week, I predict just that.

It’s a common theme in my articles and advice, so you shouldn’t be surprised by this. The Eagles play a Lions team that boasts perhaps the best offense in the league. A Safety playing nearly 100% of defensive snaps, going against a team that will extend drives, is a guaranteed way to success. Blankenship being DB40 is a crying shame, and you should take advantage of that wherever you can!
