Buffalo Bills 2022 Fantasy Football + IDP Depth Chart Dive

The Buffalo Bills are among the most talented teams on both sides of the ball. For fantasy purposes, their depth chart is chock full of high-end talent and sleepers. Let’s dive right in!

Offense

QB

Josh Allen

QB1 overall in all formats, a top rushing QB that has progressed to a top passing QB as well. Done so with a great weapon in Diggs and just decent talent outside of that thus there is even room for improvement if provided better surrounding cast. On top, this is a well-coached team that trusted Allen through struggles and built the offense around his skillset, can’t ask for better. Back to back QB1 seasons, this man is the prototype now. @DynastyBison 8/18/22

Case Keenum
Matt Barkley

Running Back

Devin Singletary

Will not touch this RB room. Even if there is a fire. @DynastyBison 8/18/22

James Cook

Will not touch this RB room. Even if there is a fire. @DynastyBison 8/18/22

Zack Moss

Will not touch this RB room. Even if there is a fire. @DynastyBison 8/18/22

Duke Johnson
Raheem Blackshear

Wide Receiver

Stefon Diggs

Diggs continued to have a monster target share and catch numbers in 2021 however his efficiency fell back a bit. Diggs is in as good a situation as just about any WR in the league and with some touchdown luck I think is on the shortlist outside of Kupp/Jefferson for WR 1 overall in 2022. @DynastyBison 8/18/22

Jamison Crowder
Gabriel Davis

Love Gabe Davis as flex play or 1st of the bench injury/bye week filler, hate Gabe Davis at Wr2-3 starter costs. I think Davis is good enough to be a consistent contributor and stick around the NFL, I do not think Davis has star upside. I would sell for two 2nds in Dynasty and I am not interested until at least round 10 in redraft. @DynastyBison 8/18/22

Isaiah McKenzie

Selling this camp hype for a 3rd or a 3rd to 2nd upgrade in dynasty if I can. McKenzie is a 5-year NFL WR who has never hit 40 targets in a season, on a team with 2 options that are definitely above him in the pecking order and another serious contender for slot snaps in Crowder. Add in an above-average TE in Knox and a pass-catching RB in Cook after trying to sign McKissic and I simply do not see a path to any real fantasy relevance for McKenzie. Get what you can now. @DynastyBison 8/18/22

Jake Kumerow
Marquez Stevenson
Khalil Shakir
Isaiah Hodgins
Tavon Austin

Tight End

Dawson Knox

Robert Tonyan 2.0. Mediocre to above average tight end paired with an elite QB, solid not spectacular target count, average yardage, high TD %. I don’t think Knox is ever a star in this league with top 5 potential, but as long as he is part of this offense he will have TE1 seasons. I do not like tight ends like this due to the unpredictability of what weeks those TDs come and the lows when they do not. Would love to pair with a pick and upgrade to a better option in dynasty or fade to a later TE like Ertz/Kmet in redraft. @DynastyBison 8/18/22

O.J. Howard
Tommy Sweeney

Defense

Defensive Tackle

Ed Oliver
DaQuan Jones
Tim Settle

Defensive End/EDGE

Jordan Phillips
Gregory Rousseau
A.J. Epenesa
Carlos Basham Jr.
Shaq Lawson
Von Miller

Linebacker

Tremaine Edmunds
Matt Milano
Tyler Matakevich
Terrel Bernard

Cornerback

Tre’Davious White
Taron Johnson
Kaiir Elam
Dane Jackson

Safety

Jordan Poyer
Micah Hyde
Siran Neal
