Troy Andersen (LB) Atlanta Falcons
Injury: Neck Injury
Injury Date: 9/29/2024
Expected Recovery Time: 4-6 weeks
Player(s) to Target: N/A
Let’s kick off this NFL Week 10 injuries article with some positive news for once. The Falcons are expecting to get back a major piece of their defense against New Orleans this week. LB Troy Andersen has returned to full participation in practice to start the week and let reporters know that he is good to go for Sunday. Andersen initially picked up this injury in Week 4, against this same Saints team he will be playing this week.
Despite only playing in four games this season, Andersen is the sixth leading tackler on the team with 44. He was on an absolute tear to start the season and was getting more productive with each game. In fact, in the game he injured his knee, Andersen recorded 17 tackles and an interception that he returned for a touchdown. Although it will be hard to expect that level of production every week, I do expect him to return to the lineup and immediately begin filling the stat sheet.
