A Non Rostered Fantasy Football Defense That Can Help You WIN

Do Not Ignore The Indianapolis Colts & Buffalo Bills Fantasy Football Defense

You need to be smart because these are the weeks in which you have an opportunity to bank your hard-earned money! This is the season for the NFL DFS playoffs. The waiver wire is bare. However, if you are in a bind and in need of a fantasy football defense – here are two under-the-radar considerations that can aid in your championship run.

Indianapolis Colts

There are several top daily fantasy sites that you can use to leverage waiver wire selections. Many of them are going to show how the Indianapolis Colts appear on about 10% of DFS rosters.

By averaging about 6 fantasy points per game, this unit is performing at a rate that is slightly below average. The fantasy points they achieve per game places them in the 17th slot. This week they take on rookie QB Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos. For week 16 they face another rookie QB in Will Nevis and the Tennessee Titans. Should your league host Championship games during week 18, the Colts will take on the putrid New York Giants with an offense that is simply unwatchable.

If you’re looking for an under-the-radar fantasy football defense with an ability to stash points. A unit that is going up against rookie QBs and the New York Giants is a receipt for points.

Buffalo Bills Fantasy Football Defense

We completely get it. The Buffalo Bills defense killed you last week against the LA Rams. This week they take on the offensive juggernaut NFC powerhouse Detroit Lions. Keep in mind that we are just looking to get by Detroit. The Detroit Lions game is being played outdoors with weather being a potential factor. This team has pride so look for the defense to rebound in front of their home crowd.

Only 53% of all fantasy football squads have rostered the Buffalo Bills. Stashing them now allows you to use them as an option in weeks 16 & 17. During these weeks the team will battle the New York Jets and New England Patriots. Needless to say, these teams are already booking tee-time reservations and are the perfect ingredient for defensive fantasy football points.
