Week one always seems to offer surprises and this year was no exception. Here is the NFL Week 2 Offensive Injury Report.

Now that teams are required to report injuries, we have a better idea of the true status of some players. Below is the NFL Week 2 Offensive Injury Report. It will be updated throughout the week as new information comes in.

For a quick reference tool, check out a new tool that I will be updating up until kickoff.

Week 2 Injury Report

No new injuries were reported.

No new injuries were reported.

Rashod Bateman, WR (groin), and Miles Boykin, WR (hamstring)

Still on injured reserve with previously reported injuries.

Update:
Marquise Brown, WR – Questionable

Brown (ankle) did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday. Hopefully, he’s just getting some extra rest, but it is worth monitoring. For updates on game day for his status, please refer to the injury tracker tool.

No new injuries were reported.

No new injuries were reported.

Tarik Cohen, RB (knee – ACL)

Remains on the PUP list.

Update:
Darnell Mooney, WR – Questionable

Mooney is officially listed as questionable for Sunday, but is expected to play after being a full participant in practice.

No new injuries were reported.

Odell Beckham Jr., WR – Questionable

Beckham was declared inactive on the Browns’ game day injury report. I expect he will remain questionable throughout the week and will be a game-time decision this week as well. For game-time updates on Beckham and other players check out the new injury tracker tool.

Update: Beckham has been ruled out of Week two.

Michael Gallup, WR – IR

Gallup left last Thursday’s game with what appeared to be an ankle injury. It is now being referred to as a calf injury and he has been moved to injured reserve with a return designation. He will have to miss a minimum of three games before he can return. Without specifics on the extent of his injury, we will have to watch his practice participation when he is eligible to return.

Jerry Jeudy, WR – IR (out 6-8 weeks)

Jeudy reportedly suffered a high ankle sprain and will miss six to eight weeks according to early reports. Some are now reporting four to six, but I tend to err on the side of caution, especially with high ankle sprains. The benefactor on Sunday seemed to be Tim Patrick, who last season seemed to serve as the backup for every wide receiver position on the Broncos.

Tyrell Williams, WR – Questionable

Williams is in the league’s concussion protocol. His status is truly up in the air as it is not uncommon for players to miss one or two games while making their way through the NFL’s protocol.

Update: Williams is trending toward not playing this week.

No new injuries were reported.

No new injuries were reported.

T.Y. Hilton, WR (neck)

Still on IR with a previously reported injury.

Update:
Michael Pittman, WR and Parris Campbell, WR – Questionable

Both Pittman and Campbell are listed as questionable for Sunday. Pittman is dealing with an ankle injury and Campbell is dealing with an abdominal injury. With Hilton already on injured reserve, the Colts’ receiving core could get even thinner, forcing them to lean even more heavily on the run game.

No new injuries were reported.

No new injuries were reported.

Update:
Josh Jacobs, RB – Out

Jacobs may be on this report regularly for missing practices. He was listed as “did not participate” on Wednesday and Thursday’s practice reports due to toe and ankle injuries. Jacobs’ managers should get in the habit of watching his gameday status.

Update: Jacobs has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh. The only solace his managers can find here is that we have some time to figure out our game plan.

No new injuries were reported.

Update:
Will Fuller, WR – Out

The Miami Dolphins have ruled Will Fuller out for Week two due to a personal matter. There is no timeline for his return and no more details are available at this time.

No new injuries were reported.

Update:
Jonnu Smith, TE – Questionable

Smith was limited in practice with a hip injury on Thursday.

No new injuries were reported.

Evan Engram, TE – Out

Engram was a surprise inactive in Week one. He has still not been participating in practice with a calf injury and is questionable for Week two.

Update: Evan Engram has now been ruled out for Thursday’s game.

Jamison Crowder, WR – Questionable

Crowder missed Week one due to being in the league’s COVID-19 protocol. Keep an eye out to see if he can test out of the protocol for this week.

Update: Crowder has cleared COVID protocol and has been activated by the Jets. Watch his gameday status just in case he is a late inactive.

Update:
Zach Ertz, TE – Questionable

Ertz was limited Thursday with a hamstring injury.

No new injuries were reported.

Rashaad Penny, RB – Doubtful

Penny left Week one with a calf injury and is trending toward not playing next week. Considering the usual optimism that head coach Pete Carroll usually has with injuries, I’d say we are unlikely to see Penny this Sunday.

Update: Penny is listed as doubtful on the Seahawks’ final injury report for Week two leaving his chances of suiting up Sunday very low. Alex Collins could be a sneaky add, especially if you have a roster spot open after shifting Penny or another player to IR.

Raheem Mostert, RB – IR

Mostert had only two carries before leaving the game with a knee injury. His managers (myself included) were left watching Elijah Mitchell take over, wondering what might have been. Head coach Kyle Shanahan initially stated that they were not worried about the injury, but we soon got reports that Mostert would miss 8 weeks.

Mostert tweeted earlier that he will officially have season-ending surgery to repair a chip in his knee.

It should be noted that rookie Trey Sermon was a healthy scratch. I won’t be surprised if Sermon is active next week and jumps above Mitchell, who is a special teams contributor, in the pecking order.

No new injuries were reported.

No new injuries were reported.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB – IR

Fitzpatrick left the game on Sunday with a right hip injury. An MRI revealed a hip subluxation which has a recovery range of six to eight weeks. Taylor Heinicke has been named the Washington starter for the time being. Adjust expectations for the Football Team’s fantasy options.
