Super Bowl LX Defensive Props
Sack Props
The first sack prop I’m circling for the Super Bowl LX props is DeMarcus Lawrence. Lawrence has a sack in each game in the playoffs after just having six during the regular season. He’s really elevated his play in the Seahawks’ playoff run and is sitting at +120 to record a sack. For a guy who’s been getting to the quarterback in the postseason, this feels like a solid bet.
Speaking of guys that have been playing well in the playoffs, K’Lavon Chaisson is next on my sack props. He has three so far in the playoffs after getting 7.5 during the regular season. Chaisson is one of the better blitzers for the Patriots and is sitting at +182 to have a sack.
The last guy I’m circling to get a sack is more of a long shot. The Seahawks love to run safety blitzes. Keep an eye on Nick Emmanwori with his low ankle sprain that he suffered in practice. However, if he plays, I like throwing a little bit on him at +680 to get a sack. They’ll get creative with their pressures, and that just might equate to Emmanwori flying towards Drake Maye.
INT Props
For the next set of Super Bowl LX props on the defensive side, let’s take a look at some interception props. The best cover defensive back the Patriots have is Christian Gonzalez. I fully expect Gonzalez to blanket Jaxon Smith-Njigba. However, Sam Darnold is still going to throw it towards JSN. After all, he is his favorite target.
Quarterbacks throwing Gonzalez’s way in the playoffs would have had a better QBR spiking the ball every play. He’s been locking guys down. Therefore, I think he’ll have a lot of opportunities to create a turnover. Gonzalez is +700 to get an interception. It’s a great price, and I think it’s got a good shot at hitting.
Finding a player on the Seahawks who may have an interception is a little trickier. However, I’m just going to ride with the guy who has the most interceptions on their team. It’s not one of their defensive backs. Instead, it’s linebacker Ernest Jones. Jones has 5 interceptions on the year and is +1100 to get one in the Super Bowl. That’s a good price for a guy leading the team in interceptions.
Other Defensive Props
Let’s take a look at a few other Super Bowl LX props on the defensive side that aren’t sacks or interceptions. Even though the Seahawks like to run a balanced offense, I do think they’ll like to get things going on the ground. Therefore, the Patriots’ linebackers are going to be in for some tackles. Christian Elliss over 6.5 total tackles+assists is at +108. He went over that number in eight games this year, and I think he does it in the Super Bowl.
On the Seahawks’ side of the ball, I’m circling Devon Witherspoon. Over 5.5 total tackles+assists is a little juiced at -158. However, he’s gone over this in both playoff games. He also went over this number in seven of 12 games during the regular season.
