Q: I’d be remiss if I left out Aaron Glenn and the Jets, who finally won not too long ago. Watching this team get beaten is making Lions fans like me feel quite vindicated about Aaron Glenn. What do you expect from them in the final weeks of the season?
The New York Jets will likely continue to struggle through the remainder of the season, but they won’t roll over. Under first-year head coach Aaron Glenn, this team has started to show signs of life. They’ve been fighting harder, playing with discipline, and creating an identity that’s been missing for years. Sitting at 3–9, the record doesn’t tell the full story. The Jets have won three of their last five and are finally competing every week, even with a depleted roster now that Sauce Gardner & Quinnen Williams are gone.
Glenn’s fiery leadership and no-nonsense approach have injected grit into a team that was lifeless early on. The Jets still have major questions at quarterback and across the depth chart, but they’ve found something valuable — a head coach worth building around and plenty of draft capital to reshape the roster. This season may not end with wins, but it will end with clarity and fight, the foundation of what could finally become a true rebuild in New York.

Q: It may have come down to the last few minutes in many games, but somehow the Bears are 9-3. Despite the constant injuries to the defense, what has kept the momentum going?
Many people, especially in the fantasy football community, get caught up in flashy player names. However, in all levels of football, from college, UFL, CFL, to the NFL, there’s one thing that can always elevate any team. Coaching. The Bears’ coaching staff, from Ben Johnson to Dennis Allen, has done a tremendous job.
Dennis Allen has this team performing well, while Ben Johnson has them believing. It’s the reason you’re seeing guys you don’t know, like Nahshon Wright, lead the NFL in interceptions. This is a guy who’s been considered mainly a bust and was hanging around some practice squads.
Another name, filling in for the injured T.J. Edwards, D’Marco Jackson had 15 tackles. Amen Ogbongbemiga, filling in for Ruben Hyppolite, who was filling in for Tremaine Edmunds, had 14 tackles. This team has been coached up and shown their assignments from the starters to the practice squad. For a Bears fan like myself, it is awesome seeing us lead the league in takeaways. It may not be the same big household names as your Brian Urlacher, Mike Brown, Charles Tillman, Lance Briggs, etc. However, these Bears are starting to look just a little bit more like the Monsters of the Midway I’ve been waiting to see again.

Q: After their 1-5 start, the Ravens are now 6-6. How has this defense kept it together after nearly falling apart this year and last?
The Ravens had a terrible start to their 2025 campaign, but have since righted the ship to be back in the playoff picture. Before their loss to the Bengals, in the previous 5 games, the Ravens’ defense held their opposition to fewer than 20 points per game. Even though it may be somewhat schedule-dependent. The five wins the Ravens ran off were against the Bears, Dolphins, Vikings, Browns, and the Jets. However, wins are hard to get in the league.
So, which players on the Ravens’ defense have turned it on as of late? Unsurprisingly, the starts of the defense have been star-like. Roquan Smith and Kyle Hamilton have been IDP stars, and Teddye Buchanan has been a very serviceable Robin to Smith’s Batman. Rookie Malaki Starks has seemingly settled into his role on defense as well, rounding out the top five Ravens in tackles. Interestingly, there is no stand-out Raven performer from a sack perspective, but the emergence of Travis Jones recently is worth monitoring in DT-required leagues. Nate Wiggins has also been a CB standout, nabbing three interceptions thus far.
Can we expect the turnaround to continue? Well, the loss against the Bengals this last week definitely throws a wrench into the Ravens’ redemption story. Plus, the rest of their schedule is no pushover! The Ravens take on the Steelers, Bengals, Patriots, Packers, and then the Steelers again to wrap up the season. The Steelers’ offense looks broken as of late, so we like the Ravens in those games, but the other matchups will test the Ravens’ defense. You can trust the IDP studs that have gotten you this far the rest of the way, but the Ravens clearly have work to do to make the playoffs.
