Kenny Young has been traded to the Broncos.

The Los Angeles Rams have traded linebacker Kenny Young to the Denver Broncos. He should immediately slot in as a starter as soon as he is up to speed on the playbook.

It has been a rough start to the season for the Broncos. Injuries on the defensive side of the ball have left the Broncos depleted. Currently, the team has six linebackers on IR and another four who carry a questionable tag going into Week 8 (including Von Miller and rookie Baron Browning).

Young has 33 solo tackles, 13 tackle assists, and 1 forced fumble this year with the Rams. Since coming into the league in 2018, Young has only missed two games. If he can avoid the injury plague, he should be an every-down player but will be a free agent at the end of the season.

For the Rams, Ernest Jones will have his shot. After falling to the third round, he was drafted by the Rams in 2021. Jones has only logged 46 snaps on defense but has shown well for the team, logging eight combined tackles. Although he has not graded well on PFF, the Rams must have faith in him.
