Every week we will break down the notable players that are on the injury report for the current week and who could replace them.

Below we will go over the injury report for Week 7. Some big names on the list, let us see who will replace them.

Raiders @ Packers

For the “Silver and Black” safety Lamarcus Joyner (groin) was limited to start the week but returned to full practice on Friday and will play on Sunday. On the other side of this matchup, Green Bay Packers rookie safety Darnell Savage (ankle) did not practice all week and is declared out for Sunday’s game at Lambeau Field. Will Redmond would start in his place.

Rams @ Falcons

For L.A. Clay Matthews is still out with a broken jaw and safety Eric Weddle did not practice on Friday, but reports have it that he was just given a veteran’s days rest and will play on Sunday. For the “dirty birds” of Atlanta, safety Ricardo Allen (knee) was limited to start the week but returned to full practice Friday and should play on Sunday. Defensive end Adrian Clayborn (knee) was full practice on Friday despite being limited earlier in the week and will be good to go.

49ers @ Redskins

Defensive tackle Deforest Buckner did not practice (not injury related on Wednesday but was not listed on the injury report the rest of the week). Defensive end Dee Ford (quad) was limited all week but is set to play in Washington on Sunday. No notable IDP players for Washington were declared out for this Sunday’s matchup!

Texans @ Colts

For the Texans starting strong safety Tashaun Gipson, Jr (hip/wrist) started off the week participating in practice fully but ended the week limited and is now questionable for Sunday. In the event he can’t go, backup Jahleel Addae would be pressed into action. The Texans could also be without their starting left and right cornerbacks as they have drawn the questionable tag for Sunday. Their backups Lonnie Johnson Jr. and Keion Crossen could show some IDP value in terms of tackles and passes defended given the amount of passing volume they would receive.

As far as the Colts are concerned safety Malik Hooker (knee) is listed as doubtful which would lead to backup George Odum seeing some playing time. Justin Houston (calf) did not practice to end the week on Thursday and Friday and appears questionable. Backup Kemoko Turay would start in his place.

Vikings @ Lions

No IDP relevant players for the Vikings were declared out for this week’s matchup in the “Motor City”. The Lions, on the other hand, could be without strong safety Quandre Diggs (hamstring) and starting cornerback Darius Slay (hamstring) as they’ve drawn the questionable tag for Sunday. In the event they can’t go backups Tavon Wilson and Rashaan Melvin, respectively, would fill in for them.

Jaguars @ Bengals

No IDP relevant players to report for the Jaguars. In Cincy, starting cornerbacks Dre Kirkpatrick (knee) and William Jackson III (shoulder) are out for this Sunday’s matchup. Tony McRae and Torry McTyer will likely start in their place. Defensive end Carlos Dunlap (knee) is listed as doubtful. Backup Andrew Brown is his back up and will likely start on Sunday.

Cardinals @ Giants

Both the Cardinals and Giants will have all their IDP relevant players at their disposal for their showdown in the meadowlands!

Dolphins @ Bills

For the Dolphins strong safety Rashad Jones (chest) has been declared out this week. Fire up Walt Aikens in his place on Sunday. For the Bills only Matt Milano drew a questionable tag for Sunday’s game. Maurice Alexander will get the nod if Milano can’t go.

Chargers @ Titans

With defensive end Melvin Ingram (hamstring) still on the shelf Uchenna Nwosu will continue playing in his place for L.A. For the Titans, linebacker Jayon Brown (groin) is listed as doubtful this week. Daren Bates will look to get the start for Tennessee if Brown is unavailable.

Ravens @ Seahawks

In Baltimore, linebacker Patrick Onwuasor (ankle) missed practice for most of the week. If he can’t go on Sunday backup L.J. Fort would start in his place. For the Seahawks, Free safety Bradley McDougald (back) and defensive lineman Ziggy Ansah (ankle) missed a lot of practice during the week and are questionable. Backups Lano Hill and Rasheem Green, respectively, would be in line to start.

Saints @ Bears

No injuries to report for IDP players slated to start for either team this week.

Eagles @ Cowboys

For Philly, linebacker Nigel Bradham has been declared out for Sunday nights matchup in Dallas. T.J. Edwards should start in his place. Starting cornerback Ronald Darby is questionable after being limited in practice all week. If he can’t go Rasul Douglas would assume the starting role. As far as the Cowboys are concerned, their IDP relevant players are good to go this week.

Patriots @ Jets

The Patriots will have safety Patrick Chung on Monday night despite being limited in practice this week while nursing a heel and chest injury. Aside from that no other IDP relevant player popped up on the injury report for New England. As far as the Jets go, everyone on that defense and their mother popped up on the injury report this week. Fortunately, all have been cleared for Sunday which should also see the return of C.J. Mosley who hasn’t played since week 1.
