Preseason is over, and it’s time to start drafting. Let’s take a look at some NFL rookies you can trust on your fantasy football teams this season.
The NFL preseason is finished, and many people will have their annual fantasy football drafts over the next week. It’s always hard to figure out if rookies are going to hit in their first year. I will give you some players that will be successful based on the situation and what they have shown in the preseason. Let’s dive into fantasy football rookies to draft to help you win your leagues.
Jahan Dotson, WR, Washington Commanders
Sleeper ADP: WR60; 165 overall
The Washington Commanders moved up in the first round to pick Dotson. He finished in the top 20 in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns in his last season. Carson Wentz has been looking for Dotson, and he has played the most snaps with Wentz in the preseason. Holding steady at WR60 is crazy to me. Dotson should be the number two option in the passing game for the Commanders.
Jahan Dotson has played 40-of-41 snaps with Carson Wentz this preseason and run a route on all 23 of Wentz's dropbacks. He's playing ahead of Curtis Samuel.
Wentz reportedly has more chemistry with Dotson than any other WR.

Chris Olave, WR, New Orleans Saints
Sleeper ADP: WR43; 101 overall
Chris Olave was one of my top five receivers coming into the NFL Draft. He doesn’t get the same level of hype as Garrett Wilson from Ohio State, but he has speed and great separation skills. Michael Thomas is back but already has had an injury, so I see Olave becoming a favorite for Jameis Winston with his great route running. Olave should be a top 30 WR and, at his ADP, he is going for way too low.
Chris Olave has ELITE separation skills. #Saints

Dameon Pierce, RB, Houston Texans
Sleeper ADP: RB39, 115 overall
Dameon Pierce did not get much work at Florida but looks like he will be the number one running back in Houston. His preseason performance was so impressive that the Texans cut Marlon Mack. Pierce’s only real competition is an aging Rex Burkhead. Just look at James Robinson on the 2020 Jaguars to see that a bad offense can still have fantasy-relevant players. Getting Pierce at RB39 could help you win your league.
Dameon Pierce had a 92.4 PFF Grade this preseason

Drake London, WR, Atlanta Falcons
Sleeper ADP: WR35, 82 overall
I was not as high on Drake London coming out of college, purely based on his lack of separation deep down the field. He was taken as the first receiver, and the Falcons need playmakers. London is great at contested catches and does well in short and intermediate routes. I see QB Marcus Mariota throwing routes that London excels at. London should well outperform his ADP as WR35.
