We made it through Week 3 of college football! Let’s take a look at some NCAA IDP Waiver Adds for Week 4.
IDP for college football can be hard to figure out. Weekly, I will provide NCAA Waiver Adds for IDP players who are rostered under 50%, according to Fantrax. The goal of these articles is to give insight into both College Fantasy Redraft and Campus to Canton (C2C) leagues. Let’s take a look at some players to check for your league’s waiver wire!
Disclaimer: All league sizes and formats are different. Meaning some of these players may or may not be available in your league.
Defensive Linemen
Markees Watts, Charlotte-16% rostered
Week 3 Stat Line: 13 tackles, 1 sack, 1 tackle for loss
Watts had his best game of the season in week three against Georgia State. He has a sack in each of his three games but his role is as a rush defender on 57% of his snaps. Even though Watts does not rush the passer much, he has made good on his limited opportunities with three sacks in 13 attempts.
Taylor Riggins, Buffalo -10% rostered
Week 3 Stat Line: 7 tackles, 2 sacks, 3 tackles for loss
Riggins did not play in week two but was very disruptive in week three against Coastal Carolina. In both games he played, Riggins had at least six tackles and two sacks. The number of sacks will probably decrease, but Riggins is used in run defense and pass defense pretty equally, so the tackle production should continue.
Linebackers
D’Marco Jackson, Appalachian State – 15% rostered
Week 3 Stat Line: 13 tackles, 3 sacks, 4.5 tackles for loss
Week three’s performance against Elon was Jackson’s best of the season, but he has produced in all three games. Jackson has at least eight tackles and one tackle for the loss in each game this season. His role is a combination of coverage, run defense, and pass-rushing, but the majority of his time so far this season has been in coverage.
Luke Reimer, Nebraska – 36% rostered
Week 3 Stat Line: 7 tackles, .5 tackles for loss
Reimer did not match his impressive 16 tackle performance in Week 2 against Buffalo but produced another solid performance with seven tackles. In three of four games, Reimer has had at least seven tackles but has no sacks and only one tackle for a loss. He splits time in run defense and coverage with little pass-rushing opportunities.
Defensive Backs
Daniel Scott, California – 13% rostered
Week 3 Stat Line: 7 tackles, 1 interception
California has a poor pass defense, allowing over 270 pass yards per game. This gives a great opportunity for fantasy production on that defense. Scott has registered at least five tackles each game and has an interception in both of his last two games. He only has aligned in the box 17% of his snaps, so most of his work is in coverage.
