The first full week of college football is in the books. Let’s take a look at some NCAA Offensive Waiver Adds for Week 2.

Weekly, I will provide NCAA Waiver Adds for offensive players who are rostered under 50%, according to Fantrax. The goal of these articles is to give insight on both College Fantasy Redraft and Campus to Canton (C2C) leagues. Let’s take a look at some players to check for your league’s waiver wire!

Disclaimer: All league sizes and formats are different, so some of these players may or may not be available in your league.

Michael Pratt, Tulane –  30% rostered

Week 1 Stat Line:  296 passing yds, 3 TDs, 0 interceptions; 34 rushing yds, 1 TD

Pratt performed well in 2020 as a Freshman with combining for over 2,000 scrimmage yards and 28 TDs. He continued where he left off with a very impressive game against Oklahoma, which should be one of the most talented teams he will face all season. Pratt could be available in redraft CFF leagues but will be less likely to be available in C2C formats.

Bo Nix, Auburn – 36% rostered

Week 1 Stat Line:  275 passing yds, 3 TDs, 0 interceptions; 31 rushing yds

Nix has been somewhat of a punching bag so far in his career, but with new coach Brian Harsin from Boise State, things may be turning around. Nix looked much more comfortable but we will need to see more as this performance was against Akron’s bad defense. He could provide great value in redraft and is a good speculative add in C2C leagues if you have the roster space.

Runningbacks

Kenneth Walker III, Michigan State – 28% rostered

Week 1 Stat Line:  23 attempts, 264 rushing yds, 4 TDs

Walker is a transfer from Wake Forest who had a huge debut for the Spartans against Northwestern. He broke off long run after long run and was most of the offense. Walker is not much of a receiving threat, with only six career receptions, but with a lackluster passing game, should get a huge workload for the Spartans. He should be in lineups moving forward and could provide good NFL value in C2C formats.

Blake Corum, Michigan – 10% rostered

Week 1 Stat Line: 14 attempts, 111 rushing yds, 22 receiving yds, 2 TDs

Corum, as a freshman, only had 31 touches in 2020 and many people do not believe in the Michigan offense under Jim Harbaugh. After one game in 2021, it seems they may have found out how to utilize Corum’s talents. He looks to share the touches with fellow RB Hassan Haskins, but with his playmaking ability, he doesn’t need to be the workhorse.

Corum is one player on the Michigan offense who could produce consistently week to week and be a guy that could have an NFL future.

Isaiah Bowser, UCF –  6% rostered

Week 1 Stat Line:  32 attempts, 170 rushing yds, 29 receiving yds, 1 TD

Bowser is a transfer from Northwestern and after one week is the go-to RB for new coach Guz Malzahn. Even though UCF fell behind early, they continued to run the ball and Bowser had all but four of the RB carries. Malzahn has always been a run-first coach, so the top RB on his offenses is someone you want. Bowser can be a great producer in his senior season but lacks NFL potential for C2C leagues.

Wide Receivers

Nathaniel Dell, Houston – 16% rostered

Week 1 Stat Line: 7 receptions, 80 receiving yds, 1 TD

Dell, as a freshman, had over 400 yards and 8 TDs in eight games. He looks to be the lead receiver for Houston in 2021. The top receiver in a Dana Holgorsen offense is always someone you want. Dell should be a four-year player so, in C2C formats, he can give you solid production for three years.

Rakim Jarrett, Maryland – 46% rostered

Week 1 Stat Line:  6 receptions, 122 receiving yds, 1 TD

Jarrett barely fits in this category and is most likely rostered in C2C leagues, so this would be for redraft leagues. He showed promise in 2020 as a freshman, but most of his work was done in one game against Penn State. Jarrett showed his big-play ability with a 60 yard TD against a good West Virginia defense. With a full season, the hope is that he can show more consistency game to game.

Tight Ends

Josh Simon, Western Kentucky – 15% rostered

Week 1 Stat Line: 3 receptions, 73 receiving yds, 2 TDs

Tight End is such a hard position to find good production for in college fantasy football. WKU likes to throw the ball, as Bailey Zappe had seven TDs this week. Simon is a player who could show consistent production with a pass-happy offense, and WKU has finished top 40 in pass percentage in the last three years.

Make sure to check out our waiver adds every Monday during the season. The deeper we go into the season the more consistency players will show. This initial article is based on just one week, so there may be volatility in production.
