Getting Started
From the beginning, getting started was a fairly quick process. Along with the website, Owners Box has an app for both Android or Apple devices. Before making a deposit, Owner’s Box will verify that you are eligible to use their platform, depending on where you live. (Make sports betting legal in all 50 states, already!) After your deposit is verified, you can select a contest to enter.
Features
Owners Box contests are mostly Superflex rosters. The lineup is one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, a tight end, two flex spots, and a superflex spot. The site utilizes a $50,000 salary cap to set your roster.
Much like other sites, Owners Box also credits you for referring others, utilizing what they call “OwnersBucks.” A percentage of your entrance to a contest is considered OwnersBucks. Depending on your ranking and status as a participant, small percentages can be converted to money to use towards contests.
Contests
There are tournament-style or head-to-head snake draft contests that you are able to choose between. The snake draft contests have up to 16 participants. Owners Box also allows individual defensive players (IDP) to a head-to-head match you create, and best ball scoring is also an option.
Personal Experience
In my opinion, the Owners Box interface is simple and easy to use. I recommend giving it a chance, whether you’re a DFS vet or new to the game. You can start today by signing up here.
