Devonta Smith Over 51.5 Receiving Yards @ -110 (Eagles)

We’ll start our Super Bowl LIX player props by targeting a receiver on the underdogs. Maybe not their WR1, but a talented receiver nonetheless. Devonta Smith. Smith has been very consistent, catching four passes in each playoff game leading up to the Super Bowl.

This season he averaged five receptions a game and 59 receiving yards. Yes, the Chiefs’ defense is pretty good at limiting receivers. In fact, they were the tenth-best team overall in receiving yards allowed by wide receivers.

However, with so many weapons on the Eagles’ offense, somebody is going to step up and have a bigger game than expected. My first instinct is to say that somebody is Devonta Smith. His current receiving line is at 51.5 yards at -110.

In the playoffs this season, he’s only gone over this once. However, he’s been far more consistent than A.J. Brown and I feel he’s going to be the player on the Eagles that gets loose for a big reception. At 51.5 receiving yards, one big reception is really all we need to cash this bet.

Xavier Worthy Over 5.5 Rushing Yards @ -119 (Chiefs)

For our second Super Bowl LIX player props bet we’re going to turn to the team that is favored. Let’s circle down to one of their rookies, Xavier Worthy. However, we’re not going to look at his receiving props. Worthy is an X-factor and they try to get him the ball in a variety of ways.

One of those ways is out of the backfield, whether that’s on a reverse, a pitch, or something else. They want to see him run the ball out of the backfield because of his speed and the mismatches he creates. In fact, in the last six games, he’s averaging at least two carries a game. He had three carries, two games in a row in December.

With those carries, the results have been mixed. In the first game of the season Worthy took his only carry for 21 yards. Two weeks ago against the Texans, his sole carry went for -8 yards. Finally, against Buffalo two weeks ago, he had two carries for a total of 15 yards.

His rushing line is currently set at 5.5 yards. This just feels too low for a player that has elite speed and that we know the Chiefs will want to get involved. The Eagles’ rush defense is a top-ten unit, however, they’re slightly worse at stopping wide receivers rushing the ball.

Jalen Hurts Over 37.5 Rushing Yards @ -110 (Eagles)

You come across some lines that just feel off. Xavier Worthy’s was one of them and that’s why we had to put it on our list of Super Bowl LIX player props. However, another line that feels off is Jalen Hurts rushing yards.

The Chiefs will put pressure on Hurts, which will cause him to run. Hurts best ability may not be his big arm, but rather his rushing ability. He averaged 41.8 rushing yards a game this season. That includes just two weeks ago when he ran for 70 against the Rams’ aggressive defensive line.

We took Hurts’ over that week because it felt too easy as well. Now, at 37.5 rushing yards, it feels too easy again. The Chiefs are ninth in rushing yards allowed overall. However, they’re 28th in rushing yards allowed to quarterbacks.

Look for Hurts not only to have designed quarterback runs but to extend plays with his legs and take off and scramble when he has to. It’s a vulnerability for the Chiefs and despite having two weeks to prepare, some vulnerabilities can’t be overcome. They’ll have to pick their battles on who they are limiting, and my guess is that will be Saquon.

Kareem Hunt Anytime Touchdown @ +140 (Chiefs)

I don’t normally do this, but it’s the Super Bowl. So yes, we are throwing an anytime touchdown bet into our Super Bowl LIX player props. For the record, I like putting money on Saquon Barkley (-190) and Jalen Hurts (-110) as well.

However, because I wanted to find something plus money, I went with Kareem Hunt anytime touchdown at +140. Hunt took over the backfield after Pacheco’s injury. Despite returning from injury, Hunt has kept the lead on the backfield. He’s running more efficiently in his second chance with the Chiefs.

On top of that, he’s on a role. Hunt has scored touchdowns in four consecutive games. After going six weeks with no touchdowns, it was almost as if he flipped a switch and hit second gear after Pacheco came back. Even with Pacheco being involved, Hunt is the back they like to use in a short-yardage situation.

I don’t see a scenario where Hunt doesn’t get a touchdown this Super Bowl. Therefore, I have to put it into my best bets and my parlay, especially because I love how it juices the odds.

Bonus Bets! Super Bowl Props

These next bets won’t be able to be parlayed with the rest of our Super Bowl LIX player props. Scroll down to see how the parlay turns out. However, there were a couple of other bets I really liked taking a look at.

Let’s start with the first touchdown scorer. We threw Kareem Hunt into our anytime touchdown scorer. I like him as the first touchdown scorer as well at +950. However, I always have a counter on another team. I wish Saquon Barkley wasn’t so juiced, but how do you not sprinkle a little on his +450 with how he’s been running? I also don’t hate Jalen Hurts at +600 and JuJu Smith-Schuster at +2800.

Another bet I found on DraftKings that I really liked was “Eagles Total Players with Rush Attempts” OVER 3.5 at +125. Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts will both have rush attempts. That’s two. Dallas Goedert had two carries in the Eagles’ last game and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him or another receiver get a carry. That’s three. Then we just need another running back to get a carry.

We don’t know if Kenneth Gainwell will play for sure, but he’s back at practice. Gainwell or Will Shipley will likely get at least one carry to spell Barkley for a play. That’s four. This one just feels too easy to be juiced to +125.

Big Parlay By The Numbers: +1400

Devonta Smith Over 51.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Xavier Worthy Over 5.5 Rushing Yards (-119)
Jalen Hurts Over 37.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
Kareem Hunt Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+140)

It’s as great as an All-Combination or 2-pick Round-Robin as it gets!
