Matt Milano (lb) Buffalo Bills
Injury: Biceps Tear
Injury Date: 8/15/2024
Expected Recovery Time: 6-9 months
Player to Target: LB Dorian Williams
Let’s kick off this NFL Week 11 injuries article with some positive news that was completely unexpected. Buffalo Bills defensive leader LB Matt Milano returned to practice Wednesday in a limited fashion. This is a remarkable feat as he suffered a biceps muscle tear which required surgery to fix. My expectation was that this injury would be season-ending but for him to return in just four months is remarkable.
With Milano practicing on Wednesday already, he has a good chance to be active this week. I would expect some rust here as he eases into an amazing game. LB Dorian Williams has filled in wonderfully in Milano’s absence as the team’s leading tackler. This will be an injury we need to monitor all the way until kickoff.
