“Five Fantasy Football Wide Receivers Who Will Overperform ADP that You Must Draft According To Sr. NFL Analyst Justin Mark”
More Fantasy Football And Draft Advice
1. D.J. Moore – Chicago Bears
The Bears tend to get direspected in fantasy football. As a Bears’ fan, that’s okay. I get it. However, this offense is set up for success with new Head Coach Ben Johnson. DJ Moore is currently being ranked as the 23rd wide receiver and being drafted as the WR17 on Underdog.
Moore is a player that is on my must draft fantasy football wide receivers. His quarterback, Caleb Williams, is entering his second year and should take another step forward. They’ve built the offensive line up so he has more time to throw the ball.
Keep in mind, Moore is only two years removed from finishing as the sixth fantasy football wide receiver in 2023. That was with Justin Fields throwing the ball to him and Matt Eberflus coaching. This is a big upgrade to Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson and I think Moore is about to thrive.
2. Mike Evans – Tampa Bay Bucs
Before you try to tell me that Mike Evans is too old, stop it. As it turns out, Evans is only one year older than he was last year. Last year he finished as the seventh fantasy football wide receiver. Seeing that he’s going as WR19 on Underdog means I have to put him on my fantasy football wide receivers you must draft.
Evans and Baker have the chemistry. Baker is a dog who likes to sling it down the field and he likes to throw to Mike Evans. Evans may have even been hindered some last year, after Chris Godwin went down with an injury, and the defenses only had to worry about him.
He still did really well, averaging 11.9 fantasy points per game, which was tied for the fourth-best average. It’s not like it’s anything new for Evans. He was the sixth fantasy football wide receiver in 2021 and the fourth in 2023. Don’t let him slip to WR19 in your draft.
3. Courtland Sutton – Denver Broncos
Courtland Sutton is another player on my list of fantasy football wide receivers you must draft and it’s mainly due to his ADP. He’s going as the 29th wide receiver off the board on Underdog and is ranked 21st on FantasyPros.
Sutton is coming off a great year with rookie Bo Nix where he finished as the tenth wide receiver. Nothing about this offense or its changes indicate he’s going to slip 19 spots of production. They should improve by drafting a rookie running back and that should take pressure off of Nix and open up the passing game even more.
I get it, Sutton may not seem like the most sexy pick in the world. However, he’s consistent, and Nix obviously trusts him. Don’t let him slip past you too far.
4. Jakobi Meyers – Las Vegas Raiders
Jakobi Meyers finished as the 29th wide receiver in fantasy football last year. That was with quarterbacks Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell throwing to him. I’m not saying Geno Smith is a massive upgrade over those two. However, he should be a decent upgrade.
With a new head coach in Pete Carroll and a new quarterback in Geno Smith, Meyers should be utilized more. He’s a sneaky good receiver. While he won’t finish in the top ten of fantasy football wide receivers, he’s a lock for the 19-24 range.
Now that you know his range, moving up five to ten spots from last year thanks to the upgrades at quarterback and coaching, would you believe me if I told you he was being drafted as the 41st wide receiver off the board in Underdog? He’s ranked 42nd by Fantasy Pros. This is a mis-value in my opinion, and I’m not afraid to make him a high-end WR3 on my team with WR2 potential.
5. Jauan Jennings – San Francisco 49ers
Brandon Aiyuk is still unhappy. Deebo Samuel was traded away. The 49ers’ receivers may not look appealing at all. Especially if CMC comes back and plays the full year healthy and takes targets. However, there’s one guy I just can’t overlook. Jauan Jennings.
Jennings finished as the 27th wide receiver last year. That’s the upper WR3 range in a 12-team league. With Deebo gone and Aiyuk still unhappy, I think he could do even better. He had multiple weeks of finishing as a top-10 wide receiver.
One of the main reasons Jennings is on my list of must-draft fantasy football wide receivers is his ranking. Fantasy Pros currently has him ranked as the 43rd wide receiver. That’s far too low for a guy this talented who fits the scheme so well. Purdy and Jennings are about to be best friends, and you can benefit from it by drafting him.
