“Sleeper players are those players that should be considered due to circumstances that have increased their value. NFL Teams had predictions of who and what positions those teams would target in the NFL Draft. Some of those predictions came true, while others were not close at all. Let’s take a look at whose sleeper value jumped because of the team’s predictions being wrong.”

2025 Fantasy Football Sleepers
WR Sleeper – Michael Wilson – Cleveland Browns
Wilson is our first sleeper and will be entering his third year with the Cardinals after being drafted in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He played 75% of the snaps in 2024 and caught 47 receptions for 548 yards and 4 TDs. The Cardinals ranked #11 in total offense for the 2024 season. There were zero offensive players drafted in the 2025 NFL Draft by the Cardinals, as they used all six draft picks on the defensive side of the ball. Wilson was third in targets with 71, which trailed just Trey McBride (147 targets) and Marvin Harrison Jr (116 targets). He had 10 games of four targets or more in 2024. The Cardinals are happy with their offense and expect it to improve with the current pieces on board.
WR Sleeper – Diontae Johnson – Cleveland Browns
Our next sleeper will be Johnson, who signed the ultimate prove-it deal with the Cleveland Browns. It is a one year minimum deal for the soon to be 29 year old former Pro Bowl receiver. After a five-year career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he compiled 391 receptions off of 639 targets for 4,363 yards and 25 TDs, he bounced between three teams last year and could get nothing going. His competition in Cleveland is Jerry Jeudy and Cedrick Tillman. Jeudy had a nice year to earn the #1 WR role. Tillman had just 29 receptions in 11 games. The opportunity is wide open for Johnson if his head and heart are right. Johnson would also be super cheap.
WR Sleeper – Tutu Atwell – Los Angeles Rams
Atwell will be our next sleeper because of the situation he is in due to off-season moves. No longer in the Rams’ uniform are Cooper Kupp and Demarcus Robinson. The new addition is the 32-year-old Davante Adams. The rookie newcomers include a seventh-rounder and an undrafted college free agent. Head coach Sean McVay admits he hasn’t used Atwell properly and expects an increase in production in 2025. With Puka Nacua and Adams manning the outside, look for Atwell to find all kinds of open space in the middle out of the slot. Atwell was third in receptions last year for the Rams with a very nice 13.4 yards per reception. McVay will scheme him into a larger role for 2025.
WR Sleeper – Wan’Dale Robinson – New York Giants
Our next sleeper will be another smaller slot WR in Robinson. He was second on the Giants with 93 receptions, which was just 16 receptions behind Malik Nabors. The Giants added nobody of relevance to their WR room, but did add relevance to the QB room in Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, and first-round rookie pick Jaxson Dart. The targets thrown in 2025 will definitely be at a higher on-target rate. 2024 was also the first year that Robinson played all 17 games. 100 receptions is a definite possibility for Robinson in 2025, which is great for a late-round pick in your startup drafts. His yards per reception of 7.5 ypr should also go up with more on-target throws.
RB Sleeper – Zach Charbonnet – Seattle Seahawks
Charbonnet is the backup to starting RB Kenneth Walker. However, if you look at the numbers, Charbonnet will jump out at you as the final sleeper in this group. Walker has played three years now after being selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. In each of those years, Walker has decreased in productivity. Walker’s yards have decreased from 1,050 to 905 to 573. His TDs have decreased from 9 to 8 to 7. Walker’s yards per carry have decreased from 4.6 to 4.1 to 3.7. Walker has yet to play a full season in his NFL career.
Charbonnet is going into his third year after being drafted in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He has increased his productivity in most RB categories, including rushing attempts, rushing yards, rushing TDs, receptions, receiving yards, and yards per reception. Two RBs going in different directions would seem to help get Charbonnet on the field more. Charbonnet has also only missed one game in his two-year career to date.
