The Best Week 14 DFS Fantasy Football NFL All-Star Stud Lineup

Welcome to the Best Week 14 DFS Fantasy Football Lineup with These NFL All-Star Players!

Coming soon to a DFS site near you. Just in time for the holidays, it’s Byemageddon II, the Sequeling! If you’re playing in a managed fantasy league, you’re probably stressed and anxious about having six teams on bye in the final week of the fantasy regular season. Why not take a relaxing walk down the DFS streets to take your mind off it all? The pool is a little shallower this week, but the game stays the same. Let’s dig into it!

Quarterback

It’s the start of the Kirk Cousins Revenge Tour and my QB Start of the Week is Sam Darnold ($7600, 12.7% of available salary on FanDuel; $6100, 12.2% on DraftKings)? Yes, yes it is. I refuse to believe the pass rush the Falcons showed last week was real and repeatable, especially on the road. This team also allowed 284 passing yards per game in the four games prior to last week.  Darnold has quietly averaged 25.4 fantasy points in the three games since his three-interception debacle against Jacksonville.

The aforementioned Kirk Cousins ($7000, 11.7% on FD; $5500, 11% on DK) also makes a nice contrarian play this week. Yes, he’s been atrocious in the last three games. And yes, he only has two starts over 20 fantasy points in games that weren’t against Tampa Bay. But it is a homecoming game and it’s not hard to see him coming into it with a chip on his shoulder and lighting up a Vikings defense that can be exploited against the pass.

Running Back

DFS lineups will be defined by one decision this week. Are you paying up for Saquon Barkley ($10000, 16.7% on FD; $9000, 18% on DK) or are you actively fading him? This is not a “scroll past and see what else is available” situation. He’s averaged nearly 35 1/2-PPR points over the last three weeks and now gets a Carolina team that got run over by Bucky Irving last week. It’s absolutely a sticker-shock situation to roster him. But with his projection, you need to be able to tell yourself a story about how he doesn’t get there to fade him.

The other Running Back leverage point this week is going to be Isaac Guerendo ($5200, 8.7% on FD; $5400, 10.8% on DK) of San Francisco. With Christian McCaffery and Jordan Mason injured, Guerendo walks into a “lead back in a Kyle Shanahan offense” role. He’ll need 12-15 fantasy points to pay off that price. If you think he can volume his way there against Chicago, he’s an ideal cash game play.

**EMERGENCY LATE-BREAKING NEWS ALERT**

Breece Hall is officially Doubtful to play this week, making Braelon Allen ($5200, 8.7% on FD; $5000, 10% on DK) a smash start. Make sure to check your early-week lineups and get Breece out if you happen to use him.

Wide Receiver

Lemme get this straight, … A.J. Brown ($9300, 15.5% on FD; $8100, 16.2% on DK) is a massive letdown in Week 13 and he’s the highest-priced Wide Receiver on the board in Week 14? In a heavily pro-Saquon Barkley game script? Make it make sense! Of course, now that I’m lamenting, he’s almost guaranteed to go off.

My favorite Wide Receiver play this week is Justin Jefferson ($9200, 15.3% on FD; $7800, 15.6% on DK). He hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 7, but I’m confident enough in Darnold and Cousins turning this into a back-and-forth game that there’s no way JJettas isn’t heavily involved. I could see this being the game that gets JJ’s touchdown rate back near what it should be.

If you’re looking for a mid- or low-priced receiver this week, look to the Lake. Both Cleveland receivers are in play this week. With Cedric Tillman out due to concussion and the Browns losing faith in Nick Chubb on the ground, both Jerry Jeudy ($6100, 10.2% on FD; $5700, 11.4% on DK) and Elijah Moore ($5600, 9.3% on FD; $4800, 9.6% on DK) have become target monsters in a Jameis Winston quarterbacked offense. Winning. Starting them in the same lineup is in play, even against a solid Pittsburgh defense. The Steelers gave up a combined 155 yards and two touchdowns to Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins just last week.

Tight End

If you don’t want to pay up for Tight End this week, well, good freaking luck. I’ve already written up Brock Bowers and Trey McBride the last two weeks. For the sake of diversity, let’s scroll down the board just a bit and look to Jonnu Smith ($7000, 11.7% on FD; $5300, 10.6% on DK). He’s seen 11 targets in each of the last two games and 30 total in the last three. You can’t find that kind of volume anywhere else south of Bowers and McBride on the salary list. Plus, the Jets have mailed in the season and I love targeting them going forward.

Defense

Normally, I hate starting a defense against one of my players, but Jameis Winston is not a normal Quarterback. After seeing what he did Monday Night, Pittsburgh ($5000, 8.3% on FD; $3500, 7% on DK) will undoubtedly be the most rostered Defense in DFS this week. I’m afraid to fade the Steelers, so I’ll differentiate my lineups by starting them even when I’m starting a Cleveland receiver (or two) opposite them.
