“Top NFL Week 11 DFS Lineup To Win Cold-Hard Cash!”
Week 11 is here and it’s time to set your DFS lineups. This week, one of my favorite quarterback picks comes at a great discount. This helps us stack the lineup with some skill position players to help win some cold-hard cash. I approach DFS not just by looking at talent, but by attacking the best matchups. Let’s take a look at some of the best ones, and set our top NFL Week 11 DFS lineup.
Quarterback
I’ll start my NFL Week 11 DFS lineup with a quarterback that’s set up with a great matchup. Russell Wilson goes against the Baltimore Ravens, which are one of the worst teams against the pass. The Steelers tend to build their offense around running the ball. However, going against a team that just allowed over 400 passing yards and four passing touchdowns is too sweet to pass up.
The best part about taking Russell Wilson as your quarterback is how cheap he is. Averaging 19.6 fantasy points per game, he’s only $5,900. This allows us to build a solid lineup because we can focus our cash on the skill-position players. Being able to save on quarterback, which can at times be the most expensive position, can be huge.
I expect Mike Tomlin to have a good game plan cooked up that will exploit the Ravens’ weakness on defense against the pass. I actually like the Steelers to win this game as well. It’s hard not to back Tomlin as a home dog. Russell Wilson is starting to look like the old Russell Wilson and could feast on this porous defense.
Running Backs
I’ll continue the top NFL Week 11 DFS lineup with Kyren Williams at the first running back spot. The Patriots are 25th against running backs in fantasy football and Kyren Williams is a go-to player on the Rams. Williams is averaging 19.5 carries per game, which is one of the best volumes in the NFL right now and at only $7,900.
It’s not just the volume, however. Williams is averaging 73.8 rushing yards per game. He’s also coming off a five-catch performance. Williams is beginning to make more of an impact in the receiving game, being targeted six times last week and seven times three weeks ago. The best thing I like about lining Williams up as your top running back is that he’s gone two weeks in a row without a touchdown. After scoring a touchdown every game of the season until the last two weeks, it feels like he’s due.
For my second running back, I’m adding Jahmyr Gibbs. David Montgomery started the season with a head of steam on this offense, but it’s been Gibbs who has carried more of the workload as of late. He’s $7,300 and averaging 13.6 carries the past five weeks. He also has four touchdowns in that time. Gibbs and the Lions have a juicy matchup against the Jags who are the 3rd worst team in allowing running back points.
Wide Receivers
I always like to stack my quarterback with a wide receiver. The option is easy for our NFL Week 11 DFS lineup. Russell Wilson’s top targeted receiver is George Pickens. Pickens is coming off a five-catch, 91-yard performance where he had an incredible touchdown grab. He’s had five or more targets in all than one game. As I mentioned with Wilson, the Steelers have a great matchup in the passing and receiving game against a very bad Ravens’ defense. Pickens will only cost you $7,000 as well.
For the next receivers, we have to do a little bargain shopping. With Keon Coleman and Amari Cooper out, Curtis Samuel was targeted eight times last week. With Josh Allen and the Bills facing a Chiefs’ team that they’ll likely have to move the ball on, Samuel at only $3,300 makes a lot of sense. Not only does he save you money, but the risk-reward could be big if he gets in the endzone.
Another cheaper option I like is Cedric Tillman at $5,300. Since Amari Cooper was traded away from the Browns, Tillman has seen targets of 12, 9, and 11 in the last three games. He’s turned those into averaging 7 catches, 85 yards, and a touchdown per game. While it’s hard to trust the Browns in general this year, Tillman is the one player you can trust.
Tight End
The tight end we’re putting in our top NFL Week 11 DFS lineup is TJ Hockenson. The former Iowa product returned two weeks ago from a late-2023 ACL injury. The first week started a little slow for Hockenson. However, last week he had eight catches for 72 yards. Hockenson looks to be back to full strength and will continue to get more and more snaps.
Hockenson is $4,700. He has a tough matchup against the Titans’ defense that has actually been pretty good at limiting opportunities in the passing game. However, they’ll have to focus on stopping Justin Jefferson, which should lead Hockenson open to more targets and more opportunities to score for your DFS lineup.
Flex
You could go multiple routes with your flex option in the NFL Week 11 DFS lineup. I’ll leave this one in your hands. However, I do have some suggestions. The first is Diontae Johnson of the Ravens at $4,800. Rostering Johnson is playing off of the revenge angle. He’s been limited on the Ravens’ offense so far but now faces his old team. After being traded away from Pittsburgh to Carolina, and now to Baltimore, Johnson gets the opportunity to show his old team what he’s made of.
Other options I don’t mind here are Kyle Pitts ($4,800) against Denver. Pitts is just three weeks removed from having four straight double-digit fantasy performances. With Patrick Surtain shutting Drake London down and potential injuries to their receiving corps, it may be a heavily relied-upon day for Pitts.
In that same game, I like taking a look at Audric Estime ($4,500). We heard he was going to get more work last week and he led the Broncos’ backfield with 14 carries. The next closest was wide receiver Marvin Mims with three. While Estime didn’t get involved in the passing game, he did look efficient enough to continue to carry the workload.
Defense
The last pick is our defense. If you rolled with any of my suggested flex options, you had enough for any defense for your NFL Week 11 DFS lineup. Why not go with the highest-priced one in Detroit at $3,800? Mac Jones did not look like he could move the ball with this offense last week and Trevor Lawrence is out again. With Detroit’s high-powered team, this game could get ugly quickly, forcing him into turnovers when playing from behind.
Another option I like is the Green Bay Packers at $3,500. While they’ve only averaged 2.4 sacks per game, they now get a matchup against the Bears that just let the Patriots sack Caleb Williams nine times. The Bears may have made changes in their coaching staff and play calling, however, a bad offensive line usually doesn’t get fixed overnight.
