Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (LB) Cleveland Browns
Injury: Neck Injury
Injury Date: 10/27/2024
Expected Recovery Time: 3-4 weeks
Player(s) to Target: LB Mohamoud Diabate
The first of the NFL Week 9 injuries is none other than the defensive captain and leader for the Cleveland Browns, LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (JOK). He went down with a scare-looking injury last week as he had to be stretchered off the field with a neck injury. Thankfully, there was some initial good news as despite the injury, he was able to move all of his extremities. He was quickly released from the hospital after some testing and is back with the team.
Although JOK is back home, this does not mean he is fully healthy by any means. There is a wide range of variety of neck injuries and he was already ruled OUT to start the week per head coach Kevin Stefanski. With him being ruled out so early in the week, I would expect him to miss multiple weeks. With Osusu-Koramoah being the leading tackler on the team for the past two years, there is a massive opportunity and hole in the defense. Look for young LB Mohamoud Diabate to fill that hole this week.
