Week 9 has arrived, and it is time to put up or shut up. Let’s tackle some IDP dynasty buy/hold/sell players that can make or break your playoff run. Or maybe you want to start setting your squad up for the 2025 season. Either way, don’t stand pat and let IDP players pass you by on the waiver wire or trade block. No moves usually mean no championships.
IDP Dynasty Buys
CB – Deommodore Lenoir – San Francisco 49ers
Whether you are in a CB-required league or not, Lenoir needs to be on your squad and in your starting lineup. His last four games have been remarkable with anywhere from 6-8 tackles in each game, 1 pass defended in each game, and 1 interception in 2 of the 4 games. That is good for almost 30 points per game scored in those four games. After his bye this week, he is going against the 28th and 32nd-ranked offenses in scoring allowed to opposing CBs. Jump on the train and enjoy the scoring fascination from this 25-year-old CB who has missed just a handful of plays all season long.
LB – Nakobe Dean – Philadelphia Eagles
Teams in your league might be a little down on Dean after his first four games this season. He posted anywhere from 4-8 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, and 1 total pass defended in the first 4 games of 2024. In his last 3 games, Dean has produced 9-12 tackles in each game, still 1 tackle for a loss, but also added 2 sacks to his stat sheet. His defensive snap count will always be in the 50-60 range which is usually 90% or more. This is by far his best season in the pros after being drafted in the third round of the 2022 NFL draft out of Georgia. He already has career-highs in every single defensive scoring category this season. Zach Baun had the early season thunder and Dean has been controlling the current thunder.
