Super Bowl LVII will feature a slew of prop bets fans can wager on. If you buy into the “defense wins championships” way of thinking, here are three defensive prop bets to consider.
We get it — lots of hard-earned cash will be used to wager on The Big Game. Casual fans will gravitate towards the Kansas City Chiefs +1.5 or Philadelphia Eagles -1.5. Lines around stars like Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts will also draw attention. Will Mahomes throw for over or under 295.5 yards? Or what about Hurts’ book over/under 1.5 TD passes?
However, if you are looking to bank some super dough- do not overlook these Super Bowl LVII props on the defensive side of the ball.
Super Bowl Game Total: Over/Under 50.5
#SuperBowl Fact:
The 'OVER' has hit 27 times in Super Bowl history, the 'UNDER' has hit 28 times (*no Over/Under for SB1).

Looking at it, 50.5 is a big number. In recent Super Bowl game total history, the “under” is on a roll. The last four Super Bowls have all gone under the projected game total. Come Sunday, this will be the 14th Super Bowl in which the game total has been projected to go over 50 points. In the 13 prior, the underbet has won nine times and lost only four.
As a result, go ahead and lock in the under 50.5.
Will James Bradberry Have an Interception?

Finding Super Bowl LVII props that offer value is an art form! Nothing is more satisfying than hitting on a long shot. I think taking a crack on James Bradberry having a pick at +600 is worthwhile. The Philadelphia Eagles finished the 2022 NFL season with 70 sacks this year.
I can see the Eagles’ front putting pressure on Mahomes and forcing a pick. Someone needs to be on the receiving end of interception, and why not a crafty veteran like good old Mr. Bradberry?
Can Brandon Graham Record a Sack?
Odds to Record 1+ Sack in the #SuperBowl
Haason Reddick -167
Chris Jones (KC) -110
Frank Clark +140
George Karlaftis +145
Josh Sweat +145
Javon Hargrave +160
Brandon Graham +185
Carlos Dunlap +270
Fletcher Cox +285
Mike Danna +400
Khalen Saunders +525https://t.co/oHr5Vqzlq0 pic.twitter.com/7V7huyFkOF— Coolbet Canada 🇨🇦 (@CoolbetCanada) February 7, 2023
By no means is +185 a sexy line. However, as stated above, 70 sacks by the Philadelphia Eagles is impressive. Yes, they and the rest of the league played an extra game, but the 1985 Chicago Bears had 64 sacks. Philadelphia is going to get after Patrick Mahomes. I am locking in on Brandon Graham recording a sack at +185.
