Who Are The Top Quarterback ADP Fallers In July 2021?

As we enter July, that means we are one month closer to the start of the NFL season. That also means dynasty rookie drafts are ramping up. With more dynasty owners starting to evaluate their teams and decide if they are a contender or not this season, I’m going to tell you who the top quarterback ADP fallers are from June to July. This is based on IDPGUYS ADP.

Top 5 QB Fallers In July

Mac Jones July QB Ranking 28

Jared Goff July QB Ranking 26

Kirk Cousins July QB Ranking 25

Deshaun Watson July QB Ranking 12

Matt Ryan July QB Ranking 22

Let’s start with the 15th overall rookie pick in this year’s NFL draft, Mac Jones. I understand dynasty owners being a little unsure of how year one will go for Jones and why his ADP is so low. When he first got drafted people thought the Patriots would ease Jones into a starting role, maybe midseason depending on how their record was. However, early reports out of training camp seem to point to the timeline for Jones to start moving up.

If these reports continue throughout training camp and approaching the start of the regular season, then I would expect Mac Jones’s ADP to continue to climb. If you are a contending team with an aging veteran, now’s the time to go acquire Jones.

Jared Goff waiving to his new teammates at Lions Training Camp

Jared Goff was traded from the Los Angeles Rams to the Detroit Lions this offseason. Regarding Goff’s fantasy outlook, this really was a negative trade. He left a high-powered offense for a ground and pound offense.

Had                                                Has

HC Sean McVay                              HC Dan Campbell

WR Cooper Kupp                           WR Breshad Perriman

WR Robert Woods                          WR Tyrell Williams

Until we get a better idea of how the Lion’s offense will look and how well Goff adjusts to his new team and offense, I totally understand why he’s seen such a big drop in ADP from June to July. It wouldn’t shock me to see Goff’s ADP continue to fall until about mid-August. If I own Goff in dynasty I’m holding for now. If I’m a believer in him now’s the time to acquire him.

The third on the list of quarterback fallers is veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins. The Minnesota Vikings ended last season 14th in passing yards and fifth in rushing yards. Even with two top-fifteen wide receivers, Minnesota will still be a run-first offense in 2021. Until the Vikings become more balanced on offense, Kirk Cousins will be nothing more than a low-end QB2 and shouldn’t see much change in his ADP.

Watson has been in the news quite a bit this offseason. First, he wanted to be traded and still does. Then, he got involved in some legal issues that he’s still trying to resolve. Not much else needs to be said until his legal issues get cleaned up. Until they do, his ADP will continue trending down.

Matt Ryan and the Falcons have had lots of changes happen this offseason. The Falcon’s quarterback will have a new head coach, new tight end, and a new number one wide receiver. The Falcons traded star wide receiver, Julio Jones, to the Tennessee Titans. They also drafted rookie tight end, Kyle Pitts, in this year’s NFL rookie draft. With all of these new changes, it makes sense that Ryan’s ADP has fallen and will probably continue until we see how this new offense will look.
