“2025 IDP Sleepers are those players that should be considered due to circumstances that have increased their value.”
NFL Teams have predictions of who would lead their depth chart at their IDP positions. Some of those predictions will come true, while others will not be even close. Let’s take a look at whose sleeper value jumped because of the team’s predictions being wrong with our top 2025 IDP sleepers.

2025 Fantasy Football IDP Sleepers
Defensive Tackle Sleeper – Jer’Zhan Newton – Washington Commanders
Newton was a second-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft. He played zero defensive snaps in his first game and just 12 in his second. From that point on, he played a minimum of 32% of the defensive snaps, with 10 games exceeding 50%. Newton is the 81st-ranked defensive lineman on the Fantasy Pros dynasty rankings. He was the 66th-ranked defensive lineman in scoring for 2024.
The door has been kicked wide open for increased defensive snaps in 2025. Da’Ron Payne is returning, but Jonathan Allen and his 50+% defensive snaps have moved on to Minnesota and the Vikings. In the 2024 injury-riddled season, Allen played over 58% of the defensive snaps in the eight games he played. He played over 79% in 2023 and over 82% in 2022. That is a lot of defensive snaps available for Newton as he continues to become a top IDP scorer for your squad.
